      Bumgardner Funeral Services Set for Thursday

      Mrs. Rena Bumgardner, 58, of 930 Pine Tree Dr., died yesterday following a long illness.

      She is survived by her husband, John W. Bumgardner and one daughter, Linda Bumgardner, both of Shreveport; two brothers, F. A. DeJean, Hodge, and C. A. DeJean, Plaquemine, and two sisters, Mrs. Nora Hass, Opelousas and Mrs. A. Dopmeyer, Houston.

      A rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm today in the Rose-Neath Chapel.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St Catherine's Catholic Church. The Rev. A. M. Chenevert, S.J., will officiate and burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park.

      Pallbearers will be Joe DeBroeck, Hubert DeBroeck, Johnny DeBroeck, B. R. Hendricks, F. E. Gandy and Paul DeBroeck.

      Sister of Local Woman Expires

      Mrs. John Bumgardner, 58, of Shreveport, a sister of Mrs. Johnnie Haas of Opelousas, died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday in Shreveport.

      She was the former Lorena Dejean, a native of Port Barre.

      Funeral services for Mrs. Bumgardner will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Shreveport. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories cemetery there.

      In addition to Mrs. Haas, Mrs. Bumgardner is survived by her husband and one daughter, Linda, both of Shreveport; two brothers, F.A. Dejean Sr. of Hodge and C.A. Dejean of Plaquemine; and a sister, Mrs. A.L. Dopmeyer of Melbourne, Fla.
