      GREER, Dolly, 81, died Wednesday in her home in Navasota. Arrangements are pending with Nobles Funeral Chapel.

    • Obituary:

      Mrs. Dolly B. Greer, 81, of Navasota died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bryan.

      She was born on June 22, 1925, in Navasota, daughter of Charles Dewey Beene and Nora Pruitt Beene.

      Mrs. Greer was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

      Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Medina of Millican Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed in Wheat Cemetery in Millican. Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

      Mrs. Greer is survived by her husband, George Greer of Navasota; daughters and sons-in-law, Myra and Ron Adams of Red Oak, and Debbie and Marvin Luttrell of Ferris; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Linda Greer of Navasota; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Jerry Beasley of Apple Springs; brother and sister-in-law Doug and Doodles Beene of Benchley; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great, great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; son, George Darren Greer; sisters, Rosa Lee Jensen and Mary Etta Lowrance; and brother, Calvin Beene.

      Serving as pallbearers were Ronnie Greer, Jr. of Millican, Coy Luttrell of Fort Worth, Randy Benner of Red Oak, Kyle Luttrell of Ferris, Brian Benner of Alma, Shaun Jones of Panhandle, Steven Anthony of Spring, and Lucas Vilanova of Navasota.
