  Obituary: Mildred "Betty" Elizabeth Campbell, age 82, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022. She was born March 14, 1940, in Alexandria, Virginia, to Mildred Rebecca (Ayres) and Rufus Franklin Britt. She married the love of her life, James B. Campbell Jr., and they were blessed with a son, James B. Campbell III. Betty was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She taught elementary school children for over 40 years and loved every minute of it. Betty loved to learn, read, travel, shop and most of all "visit" with her friends and family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Betty is survived by her son, James B. Campbell III and his wife, Amanda, of Frisco; and her granddaughters, Kara Campbell and Katarina Campbell. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James B. Campbell Jr. The Funeral Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., with Visitation one hour prior at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Bill Meek.
