    • Obituary:

      Milo Carl Kubik, 54, of 408 Eighteenth street NW, veteran of World war I, died Friday at Independence. He was born at Elberon.

      Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Lewis Kubik; a brother, Wesley, and a sister, Mrs. Albert Caslavka, all of Cedar Rapids.

      Services will be conducted in the Barta-Hesser chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday by T. B. Hlubucek. Burial will be in the National cemetery at Vining. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. Monday. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
