  Obituary: RAYNE - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Gloria LaPoint Gaspard, 55, who died at 4:20 p.m. on Friday, November 3. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Wilfred J. Gaspard of Rayne; three sons, Kevin, Corey, and Shannon Gaspard, all of Rayne; two sisters, Joyce L. Hebert of Lafayette and Gaynell L. Meche of Carencro; and three grandchildren, Skylar, Alexs and Seville Gaspard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Olite LaPoint and one brother, Hillard (Brother) LaPoint. Mrs. Gaspard was a member of the St. Joseph Good Samaritan program. Pallbearers will include Kevin, Corey and Shannon Gaspard, Wayne LaPoint, Paul Hebert and Paul Stutes. Honorary pallbearers will include Phillip Hebert, Skylar Gaspard and Robert LaPoint.
