  Obituary: Ruby Greer, 62, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2005, in Austin. She was a committed and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ruby was a member of Henly Baptist Church and a dedicated Motorolan for 20 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Greer. Ruby will be sadly missed by her devoted daughter, Laurie Whipple; granddaughters, Holly Kincaid and Kasie Whipple; grandson, Frank Kincaid and Stephanie Cupps; great-grandson, Tommy Kincaid; mother, Grandma Wagner; four sisters; and two brothers; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2005, in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Don Forrester officiating. Interment to follow services at Live Oak Cemetery in Buda. In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions made in Ruby's memory to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Austin.
