Duson, LA - Funeral services will be held on November 17, 2020 at a 3:00 pm at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, LA for Darrell A. Constantine, 72, who died Saturday November 14, 2020 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette in Lafayette, LA.

Deacon Denis LaCroix with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, LA will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Services.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Constantine, three daughters, Lynnette M. Comeaux, Nichole Hebert, Toni Cantey, six grandchildren, Cody Terro, Brendan Comeaux, Nicolas Cantey, Macie Royer, Van Royer, Owen Oestriecher, one great grandson, Nathan Terro, three sisters, Lois Domingue, Betty Ann Norris, Mary Ann Guidry.

Darrell served in the United States Army in 1968.

He was preceded in death by father, Augustine Constantine, mother, Polita Constantine, three siblings, Clifton Constantine, Louis Constantine, Martha Sonnier, one granddaughter, Rose Margaret Oestriecher.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Obituary:

Rayne - Funeral services for Wilbert "Bud" "Slim" Clement, 88, of Rayne will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. Deacon Tommy Adams will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2, Rayne.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home, Rayne, with a rosary being recited at 6:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

Mr. Clement passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 9:19 P.M. in a Lafayette hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of Rayne, Mr. Clement was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for valor while serving in Burma.

Mr. Clement was a member of American Legion Arceneaux Post #77. He retired from Weatherford-Lamb after many years in the oilfield. He enjoyed gardening, reading (especially westerns), and he loved spending time at Holly Beach. His greatest joy in life was spending time with and caring for his family. He was a loving father and a devoted family man.

Survivors include his daughter, Betty Jo Constantine and husband, Darrell of Duson; sons, Ronald Clement, Sr. of Rayne, Mark A. Clement and wife, Mary of Mire, and Gregory Clement, Sr. of Rayne; grandchildren, Lynnette Comeaux and husband, Jay of Rayne, Ronald Clement, Jr. of Rayne, Crystal Reaux of St. Martinville, Shawn A. Clement and wife, Jenna of San Antonio, TX, Jamie Lopez of Rayne, Gregory Paul Clement, Jr. of Rayne, and Autumn Clement of Rayne; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by his loving dog, Coco.

Preceding Mr. Clement in death were his parents, Beauregard and Aurelia Credeur Clement; son, Michael D. Clement; sister, Renola Bourque; and brother, Wilson Clement.
