Obituary:

Funeral services for Jimmie Rudolph White, 60, of League City, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Porter Chapel, Wortham; officiating will be the Rev. O.D. Christian. Burial will be in Wortham Cemetery.

Mr. White, a veteran with the U.S. Navy, died Thursday in an Austin hospital, and was born near Streetman, in Freestone County, on June 30, 1935. He was an electrician with the Chevron Refinery at League City.

Surviving are his wife, Virgie Lanell White of League City; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Travis R. White of Kirvin; three daughters, Carol Lynn Cox of Groesbeck, Sharon D. Graves of Evergreen, Colo., and Connie Rachelle Yarbrough of League City; three sons, James T. White of Houston, Ellis Paul Thahan of Kemah and Patrick Duane Trahan of League City; a brother, Charles Bertrand White of Kirvin, and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Don Ray Smith, Roy Trahan, Bobbie Bell, Joel Sumerrall, Charles Coward and David Worthy.

RIO VISTA - Joe Burch, 96, a retired farmer, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, in Whitney.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne. Burial: Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield.

Survivors: Sons, Bill and Tommy Burch; daughters, Marion White, Helen Sims and Anna Haynes; one brother; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

RIO VISTA - Colleen Harrison Burch, 88, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999, at a Hillsboro hospital.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Chapel. Burial: Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday the the funeral home.

Collene Harrison Burch was born Feb. 14, 1911, in Jayton, and resided in Rio Vista 48 years prior to moving to Whitney in 1992.

Survivors: Husband, Joe Burch of Rio Vista; sons, Bill Burch of Angel Fire, N.M., Tommy Burch of Rio Vista; daughters, Anna Haynes of Borger, Marion White of Houston, Helen Sims of Cedar Hill; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
