EARLY - Pete Ford, 57, formerly of Brown County, died Wednesday.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Oakland Cemetery with Rueben Packer officiating, directed by Heartland Funeral Home.
Survivors include two sons, Blaine Ford and Bryan Ford, both of Burleson; two daughters, Chrissy Dawson of Brownwood and Cherri Ford of Amarillo; one brother, Jerry Ford of Friendswood; one sister, Myrna Sponhauer of Oregon; and two grandchildren.

Services for P. F. Ford, 65, of 1701 Ave. B, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche County with Ernest Smith, minister officiating.
Mr. Ford died Thursday at 2:40 p.m. in the Brownwood Community Hospital following a five month illness.
Born May 19, 1905 in Comanche County, he was a carpenter and had lived in Brown County about 14 years. He married Lorena Hurst in Comanche Oct. 21, 1933.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jerry Ford of Austin and Pete Ford of Joshua; a daughter, Mrs. Myrna Jones of San Antonio; three brothers, E. P. Ford of Gualaca, Calif.; J. E. Ford of Yuma, Ariz.; and T. E. Woody, of Katy; three sisters, Mrs. Virgie Sims of Odessa, Mrs. Floy Morrison of Gorman and Mrs. Nora Fewell of Sealy; and four grandchildren.
