    LAKE CHARLES - Funeral services for Clifford R. Broussard, 44, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday with a requiem high Mass in St. Margaret Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Welsh Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

    Mr. Broussard died Sunday in a local hospital.

    Survivors are his widow; two sons, Michael and Sidney Broussard of Lake Charles; his mother, Mrs. Julia Broussard of Lake Charles; one sister, Mrs. Jasjer Louviere of Lake Charles; and two brothers, Willard Broussard of Welsh and Lee Broussard of Beaumont, Tex.

    Funeral services for Clifford R. Broussard. 44, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday during a requiem high Mass in St. Margaret Catholic church.

    Burial will be in the Welsh Catholic cemetery under direction of Hixson funeral home.

    Mr. Broussard. a resident of 2605 Deaton street, died at fi:35 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital. A native of Welsh, he had lived in Lake Charles 16 years.

    He was a pipefitter for Pittsburgh Plate Glass, Chemical Division, was a veteran of World War II.

    Survivors are his wife. Mrs. Edythe Broussard: two sons, Michael and Sidney Broussard. both of Lake Charles; his mother, Mrs. Julia Broussard of Lake Charles: one sister. Mrs. Jasper Louviere of Lake Charles; and two brothers, Willard Broussard of Welsh and Lee Broussard oŁ Beaumont, Texas.

    Mell Peloquin Claimed by Death

    Mell Peloquin, 54, a resident of 1120 Lake street, died at St. Patrick's hospital at 3 a.m. Sunday. Mr. Peloquin was associated with the state highway department as a mechanic and had made his home in Lake Charles for about nine years.

    Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at the Congregational church in Kinder with Rev. Paul Leeds officiating. Burial will be in Green Oak cemetery with the Hixson funeral home in charge.

    Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mandy Peloquin, Lake Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Garcille; Lake Charles; a brother, Matt Peloquin, Kinder; two sisters, Mrs. J. J. Miller and Mrs. Felix Peloquin, Kinder, and three grandchildren.

    Pallbearers will be Clifford Van Slyke, Felix Fontenot, Wesley Maddox, Arnold Augustine, William Miller and Frank hebert.

    Mrs. Mandy J. Peloquin, 78, of 2605 Deaton St. died at 1:30 a.m. today, Dec. 24, in a local hospital.

    Funeral services will be at 10:00 Friday, Dec. 26, from St. Margaret Catholic Church.

    Burial will be Greenoaks Cemetery in Kinder with Hixson Funeral Home in charge.

    A Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, in the funeral home chapel.

    Funeral home visiting hours will be after 3 p.m. Thursday.

    Mrs. Peloquin was a native of Iowa and had been a resident of the area for 40 years.

    Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Mason Hardy of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Hebert of Lake Charles and Mrs. Fernest Leger of Oberlin; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

    Rites Held Sunday For Mrs. Johnice

    Funeral services for Mrs. Adeline LeBleu Johnice, 74, who died Sunday night at her home, 1531 Cessford street, were held at St. Hubert's chapel on Nichols street at 10 o'clock Monday morning, with the Rev. George A. Bodin, assistant pastor of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, officiating. Burial was in the Chloe cemetery with the Hixson funeral home in charge.

    Mrs. Johnice was found dead at 6 a.m. Sunday, having expired in her sleep during the night.

    Survivors are her husband, Donloe Johnice, one son, John A. Johnice, Lake Charles, three daughters, Mrs. Frank Hebert and Mrs. Mel Peloquin, Lake Charles, and Mrs. Lillie Leger of Oberlin; two brothers, Arsan LeBleu and Volsan LeBleu, Lake Charles, and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Farque, Lake Charles.
