    Wilbert "Mac" McComb Sr. 82, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008, in a local hospital.

    He was born Dec. 30, 1925, in Kaplan to Exale McComb and Niola Primeaux McComb. He retired from Pepsi Cola after 33 years. He loved to play softball and he loved gardening. He served as a Marine in World War II on Iwo Jima.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dorothy LeBleu McComb; a son Wilbert McComb III; and one brother, Wilford McComb. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Wilbert "TBoy" McComb Jr. and wife Regina, Gilbert McComb and wife Debra, Gene McComb, Robert McComb and girlfriend Jackie and Mark McComb and wife Colleen; daughters, Joey Leith and husband Eric, Shirley Jones and husband Doug, Becky Laracca and husband Joe, Nelda McComb and Connie Cooper and husband Donnie; daughter-in-law, Patty McComb; a brother, Rodney McComb; 33 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

    His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, in Hixson Funeral Home. Deacon Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. today.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Wilbert (Dorothy Lea) McComb, 59, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, from Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.

    The Rev. Irving DeBlanc will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

    Visitation is from 11 a.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary.

    Mrs. McComb died Monday, April 6, 1992 in a local hospital.

    She was retired after 27 years as a cafeteria manager at Eastwood Elementary School and was a member of Christ the King Chapel.

    Survivors are her husband; five sons, Wilbert McComb Jr. of Lafayette, and Gilbert, Gene, Robert and Mark McComb, all of Lake Charles; five daughters, Shirley Jones of Dallas, and Carolyn Leith, Becky LaRacca, Nelda McComb and Connie Cooper, all of Lake Charles; one brother, Eugene "Joe" LeBleu of Baton Rouge; one sister, Georgia Aucoin of Lake Charles, 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

    A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today, Aug. 10, in the funeral home.

    Mr. LeBleu died at 10:50; a.m. Saturday in a local hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Lake Charles, he owned and operated LeBleu Grocery and Restaurant for 41 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.

    Survivors include his wife, Mrs Lorena Veronie LeBleu; four sons, Eugene LeBleu of Campti, Clarence LeBert, Elton LeBert, and Donald Ray LeBleu, all of Lake Charles; three daughters, Mrs. Georgia Aucoin, Mrs. Dorothy Lee McComb, and Mrs. Jo Ann Joubert; one brother, Fremont LeBleu; and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Hebert, all of Lake Charles; 32 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

    Survivors are one son, Joe Eugene LeBleu of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Georgia Aucoin and Mrs. Dorothy Lea McComb, both of Lake Charles, 17 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
