Vicki Lynn Sanford, 51, of Canyon Lake, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas.

Vickie was born on October 29, 1963, in Houston, Texas to Ladine Smejkal and Thomas Jerry Raulerson.

She was a graduate of Pasadena high school and attended the University of Houston. She got her bachelor?s degree in teaching/psychology and taught at Mountain Valley School for the last year and has been teaching for the past 20 years.

Vicki loved her family and loved to be on the water in her boat. She was a member of Hillside Fellowship Chruch in Spring Branch.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Edwin Sanford of Canyon Lake; children, Zachary Thomas Raulerson and Amanda Michelle Sanford both of Houston; brothers, Michael Ray Taylor, Thomas Raulerson and Brandon Raulerson all of Houston; parents, Thomas Jerry Raulerson of San Antonio and Ladine Garner of Yoakum, Texas.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in Canyon Lake/Sattler.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at Hillside Fellowship Church located at 7055 US-281, Spring Branch, TX 78070.

A reception will follow the services at the church hall and graveside services will then proceed the bereavement dinner at the church at Hill Country Memorial Gardens located at 11700 State Hwy 46 W, New Braunfels, TX 78132.

Edwin Sanford, 34, of LaMarque, Tex., died in Houston, Tex., Tuesday from an apparent self - inflicted gunshot wound.

Funeral services for Mr. Sanford will be at 3 p.m. today in Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel of West Monroe with the Rev. Pearcy Keene officiating. Burial will be in the Beulah Cemetery near Calhoun.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Barbara Sanford; two sons, Edwin Sanford Jr. and Kevin Eugene Sanford; one daughter, Miss Rebecca Dianne Sanford, all of LaMarque; seven brothers, Buck Sanford, Jimmy Sanford, Donald Sanford, all of Calhoun, Vollie Sanford Jr. of Bakersfield, Calif., Kenneth Sanford of San Antonio, Tex., George Sanford of LaMarque and Eugene Sanford of Lafayette, Calif.; and six sisters, Mrs. Flo Kurtty of Midwest City, Okla., Mrs. Beatrice Worley of Monroe, Mrs. Laurice Templeton of Houston, Mrs. Delores Miller of San Antonio, and Misses Sherry Sanford and Linda Sanford, both of Calhoun.
