    Obituary:

    BENTON, LA. Services for Mrs. Marvis W. Dalrymple, 70, of Benton will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel with the Rev. O. P. Bazer, pastor of Pilgrim Home Baptist Church officiating. Assisting will be Brother Wayne Craig of Cypress Baptist Church. Interment will be at Lay Cemetery near Benton.

    Mrs. Dalrymple, a native of Columbia County,, Ark., and former resident of Shreveport died Friday, March 20, 1992, at Bossier Medical Center following a lengthy illness. A resident of Benton since 1942, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Pilgrim Home Baptist Church and was a former member of Red River Baptist Church, where she held many offices within the church.

    She is survived by her husband, N. A. "Buddy" Dalrymple of Benton; one daughter and son-in-law, Hazel and Jack Leachman of Benton; four granddaughters, Rita Gail Temple and her husband, Tony of Eula, Tex- as, Jackie Sue Coker and her husband, Greg, Marcia Reed, and Christie Leachman, all of Benton; four great-granddaughters, Deborah, Jennifer and Suzie Temple of Eula, Texas and Amanda Coker of Benton; one sister, Selene Lewis of Magnolia, Ark.: one brother, Grover Guy Wise of Shreveport; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

    Pallbearers: Don Vaughn, Billy Dalrymple, B. W. Dalrymple, George McKinney, Reggie Quillin, R. E. Ryan, Jr., Bill Goodman, and Greg Coker.

    The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the La. Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, La.

    The family would like to express a very special thanks to Curtis & Inez Merritt, Mrs. Addie Oliver, Audrey Creamer, and Dr. Vicki Cobb for all of their love, concern, and support.
