Obituary:

Funeral services for Hale were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Walnut Grove Baptist church east of Epps with the Revs. J. P. Harvey and Mel Neuschwanger officaiting.

Interment was in Epps Cemetery under direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Billie Hale, of Pioneer; a son, Jason L. hale, of Pioneer; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill W. Hale of Epps; three brothers, Ralph Hale and Fredrick Hale, both of Pioneer, and Larry Hale, of Epps; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Newton and Mrs. Gayla Miller, both of Epps; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ava Williams, of Winnsboro.

Pallbearers were Mike Hale, David Hale, Louis Hale, Craig Hale, Edward Sullivan and Billy Sullivan.
