    DIANNE TUTTLE

    Dianne Tuttle, 47, Memphis, Tenn., formerly of this area, died April 17, 1993, at a hospital in Memphis. Services were Monday; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis. Mrs. Tuttle was born in Kansas City and moved to Memphis in 1974. She was a telecommunications director for Federal Express. She was a member of the East Memphis Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Steve Tuttle II, Memphis; her mother, Margaret Ashbaugh, Blue Springs; and two sisters, Allene Burns, Blue Springs, and Joan Gion, Champaign, Ill.

    Allen T. Ashbaugh, 69, Blue Springs, died Thursday at the Medical Center of Independence. He was born in Kansas City and lived in this area most of his life. He was a retired stationary engineer. He was a member of the Independence Masonic Lodge and the Ararat Shrine. He was a member of the Westport Christian Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Vernia Ashbaugh of the home; a son, Edward B. Ashbaugh, 15807 E. 37th Terrace, Independence; four daughters, Mrs. Allene Williams, Blue Springs; Mrs. Joan Goin, Blue Springs; Mrs. Dianne Tuttle, Memphis, and Mrs. Irene Lewis, Pasadena, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Harding, Sun City, Ariz., and eight grandchildren.

    Vernia Margaret Ashbaugh, 88, of Oak Grove, MO, formerly of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Friday, April 14, 2006.

    Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Webb-Freer Funeral Home, 205 SW 17th St., Blue Springs, MO (816-2292101). Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.

    Vernia was the daughter of Stephen B. and Grace (Houston) Pugh. She was born December 13, 1917 in Grand Cane, LA. She was a member of Plaza Heights Baptist Church, SKOP, and Past Vice President of the local AARP. Had been very active at the Vesper Hall in Blue Springs, MO and The Select Set Club.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Allen T. Ashbaugh in 1976. A daughter Margaret Dianne Tuttle in 1993. Brother S.B. Pugh Jr. and a son in law Steven R. Tuttle.

    Survivors include daughters, Allene Ashbaugh of Oak Grove, MO, Joan Goin and husband Bruce of Lawson, MO; brother, Newell O. Pugh, Shereveport, LA, Orie Lee Pugh, Bartow, FL; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. (Arr; Webb-Freer Funeral Home, 816-2292101).

    SAREPTA, LA - Services for Mr. Stephen B. Pugh, Sr., 95, of Sarepta, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday Sept. 15 at the New Sarepta Baptist Church, where he was a member and deacon. The Rev. Richard May will officiate. Burial: Old Sarepta Cemetery. Plans are under the direction of Bailey Mortuary of Springhill, La.

    He died Tuesday Sept. 13, 1983, in Springhill. Mr. Pugh, a native of the Friendship Community in DeSoto Parish, La. and a resident of Sarepta for 55 years, was retired from International Paper Co. and was a retired farmer.

    He is survived by three sons, Dr. N.O. Pugh, Sr. of Shreveport, Stephen B. Pugh, Jr. of Sarepta and Orie Lee Pugh of Lake Wales, Fla.; one daughter, Margaret Ashbaugh of Blue Springs, Kansas; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

    She is survived by her husband, Stephen B. Pugh, Sr. of Sarepta; three sons, Dr. N.O. Pugh, Sr. of Shreveport, Stephen B. Pugh, Jr. of Sarepta, and Orie Lee Pugh of Lake Wales, Fla.; a daughter, Margaret Ashbaugh of Blue Springs, Kan.; a sister, Gertie Cochran of Sarepta; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
