    HATTIESBURG - George J. Lee, Sr., 71, a retired certified public accountant, died of heart failure Saturday at Forrest General Hospital.

    Services are 2 p.m. today at Victory Christian Church with burial in Highland Cemetery. Visitation is 1 p.m. today at the church. Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

    Mr. Lee was a Lake Providence, La., native. He was retired from L and A Contracting Co., where he worked for 20 years as financial vice president. In 1982, Mr. Lee co-founded New Life Fellowship Church (now New Victory Baptist Church), where he served as pastor. He graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and served as a U.S. Navy lieutenant during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He later retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was a member of the Hattiesburg Elks BPOE and a former member of the Lions Club. Mr. Lee served for seven years as president of the Hattiesburg Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International. He was a member of the founding board of the Storehouse Church, developing the original church charter. He served as deacon at the First Assembly of God Church of Hattiesburg. Mr. Lee was also a founding board member of Faith Christian Fellowship Church, now known as Grace Temple.

    Survivors include: wife, Janette; daughters, Charlotte Turnell of Spring, Texas, and Patrice Bodnar of Petal; son, George J. Lee, Jr. of Atlanta; sister, Joy Christine Turner of Orange, Calif.; brothers, James N. Lee of Bunkie, La., and Albert C. Lee of Germany; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

    Graveside services for Mrs. Marjorie LeBlanc Parker, 48, of 2413 Creswell, will be conducted at 1 p.m. today with the Rev. James W. Taylor, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

    Mrs. Parker died Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Physicians and Surgeons Hospital after a long illness. She was active in church work at Highland Baptist Church and in several civic organizations.

    Survivors include her husband, Chance Parker; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly E. Wells of Bossier City and Mrs. Charlotte Krage of California; and three grandchildren.

    Obituary:

    C.J. LeBlanc, about 50, died after a long illness at an Alexandria hospital at 1 p.m. yesterday. Funeral services are scheduled at 5 p.m. today at Broussard, where Mr. LeBlanc resided.

    Mr. LeBlanc is survived by his widow, the former Miss Willie Mae Herrin of Shreveport, and one daughter, Mrs. George Lee of Lafayette. His mother-in-law, Mrs. J.B. Herrin, resides at 2618 W. College St. here.

    Mr. LeBlanc was a brakeman for Southern Pacific Railroad before he was injured several years ago.

    Obituary:

    Funeral services for Clarence J. LeBlanc, 56, were held yesterday at the First Baptist church. Mr. LeBlanc died Friday at the Veterans Hospital in Alexandria.

    Rev. R. L. Holmes, pastor of the First Baptist church, conducted the service.

    Interment took place in Memorial Park cemetery where Masonic services were conducted by Clyde Creagh. The flag was presented to the family by Harry A. Dupre, chaplain of Stanley Martin - Felix Ducrest Post No. 69 of the American Legion.

    Pallbearers were Dr. Maurice S. Le Doux, Oliver LeBlanc, Dr. Howard Turner, Rene L. Goff, Cyr Boudreaux and Ira Pichon.

    Mr. LeBlanc was a resident of Broussard where he owned and managed a motel. Prior to this he had been employed by the Southern Pacific railroad for 14 years.

    He was a member of the First Baptist church, Hope Lodge No. 145 F & AM, the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and a veteran of World War I.

    Survivors include his widow, the former Willie May Herrin, of Broussard; one daughter, Mrs. George J. Lee of Thibodaux and two grandchildren.

    The Delhomme Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Milton Bolden, 64, of 3321 Sun Valley Court, died Friday, at 9:30 p.m. in Willis Knighton Hospital following a long illness.

    Mrs. Bolden, a native of Van Zandt County, Texas, had been a Shreveport resident for 15 years. She was a member of Delta Rho Delta sorority, Daughters of the American Revolution, 17th Century Colonial Dames and the Queensboro Baptist Church.

    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the Osborn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Nolan Logan and the Rev. Ira Peak officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Delta Rho Delta sorority will hold graveside services.

    She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Chance Parker of Houston; two sisters, Swan Herrin and Mrs. Blanche Persons, both of Shreveport; five brothers, James Herrin Sr. and Joe R. Herrin, both of Shreveport, and Oscar B. Herrin, C. Gipson Herrin and Robert T. Herrin, all of Houston; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

    Died Sunday, July 23, at 4:30 p. m. at the residence of her father, Mrs. Alcide LeBlanc, nee Marie Helena Peck, aged 31 years and 8 months. The remains were taken to Broussard Monday for interment. Funeral services were held in the Catholic church of that place at 3:30 p. m.
