Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:30 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Ronald J. Clement, Sr. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald, 57 after an illness. Ronald's Life was extended by 10 years through an organ donor. Ronald was a native of Rayne, La. and adored by his loving family and friends. He passed away at his home in Rayne on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2:15 P.M.

Deacon Dennis LaCroix, from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne will be officiating for the services.

The family has requested the visitation to be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. until the time of services in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Pellissier Clement of Rayne; his mother, Betty and husband, Louis Castille, Jr. of Indian Bayou; one son, Ronnie Clement of Rayne; two daughters, Crystal Reaux of Youngsville and Vanessa Scarborough of Nevada; one stepson, Lance Labbie of Rayne; one sister, Betty Joe Constantine of Rayne; two brothers, Mark Clement of Mire and Greg Clement of Rayne; three grandchildren, Christian, Ashley and Kirsten.

Mr. Clement was preceded in death by his father, Wilbert "Bud/Slim" Clement; one grandson, Danny Breaux; and one brother, Micheal Clement.

Rayne - Funeral services for Wilbert "Bud" "Slim" Clement, 88, of Rayne will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. Deacon Tommy Adams will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2, Rayne.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home, Rayne, with a rosary being recited at 6:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

Mr. Clement passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 9:19 P.M. in a Lafayette hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of Rayne, Mr. Clement was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for valor while serving in Burma.

Mr. Clement was a member of American Legion Arceneaux Post #77. He retired from Weatherford-Lamb after many years in the oilfield. He enjoyed gardening, reading (especially westerns), and he loved spending time at Holly Beach. His greatest joy in life was spending time with and caring for his family. He was a loving father and a devoted family man.

Survivors include his daughter, Betty Jo Constantine and husband, Darrell of Duson; sons, Ronald Clement, Sr. of Rayne, Mark A. Clement and wife, Mary of Mire, and Gregory Clement, Sr. of Rayne; grandchildren, Lynnette Comeaux and husband, Jay of Rayne, Ronald Clement, Jr. of Rayne, Crystal Reaux of St. Martinville, Shawn A. Clement and wife, Jenna of San Antonio, TX, Jamie Lopez of Rayne, Gregory Paul Clement, Jr. of Rayne, and Autumn Clement of Rayne; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by his loving dog, Coco.

Preceding Mr. Clement in death were his parents, Beauregard and Aurelia Credeur Clement; son, Michael D. Clement; sister, Renola Bourque; and brother, Wilson Clement.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 12 at 2 p.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church for Beauregard Clement. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Gossen Funeral Home.

Mr. Clement died Tuesday, May 11 at 5:20 a.m. in the Rayne Branch Hospital at the age of 81.

Survivors include his wife, Aurelia Credeur Clement, 2 sons, Wilson J. Clement of Galveston, Texas; Wilbert Clement of Rayne, 1 daughter, Mrs. Cyprien Bourque of Rayne, 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Louis Clement of Rayne, 2 sisters, Mrs. Otis Nunez of Port Arthur, Texas and Mrs. E.F. Hebert of Opelousas.

He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion Arceneaux Post 77, which will hold a court of honor.

He was a native of Acadia Parish and was a retired farm foreman.

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Aurelia Clement Sunday at 2 p.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mrs. Clement was 83 when she died at the Rayne Branch Hospital on Friday.

Burial was in the Church cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Cyprien Bourque of Rayne; two sons, Wilson J. Clement of Galveston, Tex., and Wilbert "Bud" Clement of Raye; five sisters, Mrs. Isaac Fontenot, Mrs. Emolia Credeur, Mrs. Nola Navarre, and Mrs. Fsley Arceneaux, all of Rayne; three brothers, Clervole Credeur of Kaplan, Clemile Credeur of Rayne and August Credeur of Winnie, Tex.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Gossen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
