    PHALBA - Services for Jeffery Lee Delbert, 39, Phalba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Word of Victory, Canton, with Dr. Michael J. Burns and Chaplain Ray Edwards officiating.

    Burial will be in Haven of Memories under direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

    Mr. Delbert died Nov. 17, 2006, in Gun Barrel City.

    He was born April 9, 1967, in Mesquite to Joseph J. and Dorothy Joan Cassells Delbert. He was a lifelong resident of the Canton area and a member of Word of Victory. He worked in the McKinney Fire Department and, for 11 years, worked with the Dallas Fire Department. He was a member of IAFF.

    He was preceded in death by mother, Joan Delbert; daughter, Joy-Elise; and brother, Chad Blevins.

    Survivors include his wife, Dena Delbert, Phalba; sons, Lee Delbert and Matthew Delbert, both of Phalba; daughter, Makayla Delbert, Phalba; father, Joe Delbert, Canton; brothers, Lynn Delbert, Antlers, Okla., Larry Delbert and Tony Delbert, both of Canton, and Joey Delbert, Plano; sister, Leslie Smith, Kyle; twin sister, Jackie Fitzgerald, Rowlett; nieces and nephews.

    Pallbearers will be Joe Delbert, Tim Rose, Steve Tawater, Brian Haas, Dan Skomars, Mike Cekinovich, Bobby Ross, Hoyt Hubbell, Frank Roma, Dwayne "Red" McPeek, Tony Jones and Neil Howard.

    FORT WORTH - Edwin Oland Andrus, a retired Bell Helicopter employee, died Tuesday at his Fort Worth home. He was 70.

    Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at East Hills Church of Christ, where he was a member. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield.

    Mr. Andrus was born in North Zulch, Madison County, and moved to Fort Worth in 1946.

    He had worked at General Dynamics for 17 years and at Bell Helicopter for 12 years before his retirement in 1986.

    Mr. Andrus was a member of Tarrant County Masonic Lodge No. 942.

    His wife, Violet Marie Andrus, died in 1987.

    Survivors: Two sons, Lt. Cmdr. L. Edwin Andrus of San Diego and John R. Andrus of Lewisburg, N.C.; daughter, Beverly Fritcher of Lillian; two brothers, Milton N. Andrus of Madisonville and Raymond Andrus of Houston; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

    Violet Jernigan Andrus of Fort Worth died Monday at a Fort Worth hospital. She was 59.

    Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at East Hills Church of Christ, 2225 Barron in east Fort Worth, where she was a member. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by Gause Ware, Owens & Brumley Funeral Directors.

    Mrs. Andrus was born in Seymour in north-central Texas and moved to the Fort Worth area as a child. She attended Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School in the 1940s.

    One son, George A. Andrus, died in 1986.

    Survivors include her husband, Edwin O. Andrus of Fort Worth; two sons, Leslie E. Andrus of San Diego, Calif., and John R. Andrus of Fort Worth; one daughter, Beverly J. Fritcher of Lillian in Johnson County; her mother, Johnnie L. Jernigan of Fort Worth; one brother, James L. Jernigan of Tucson, Ariz.; one sister, Christine Hudgins of Stephenville; and 14 grandchildren.
