Robert 'Tony' Anthony
Robert "Tony" Anthony, 90, of Salinas, died Friday, April 4, 2003, at Katherine Health Care Center in Salinas after a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 25, 1912, in Greensboro, N.C., lived in Southern California for most of his life and in Salinas for the past few years. He owned an auto repair business before his retirement in 1978. He had a great sense of humor and will be remembered for his countless stories and jokes and his optimistic attitude.
Survivors: Son, Wayne Anthony; daughter, Barbara Rowland; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements: California Cremation Society.
