    PENDLETON - Jerry P. Mahoney, 62, of Pendleton, passed away Sept. 5, 2008, at Community Hospital Anderson.

    He was born March 8, 1946 in Anderson, the son of Jerry and Wilma Gene (Whitley) Mahoney. He lived in Madison County all of his life.

    Jerry graduated from St. Mary's High School Class of 1964 and from Anderson College in 1969.

    He was a St. Mary's "Gael" basketball player and played football for the Anderson Packers.

    He worked for Vectren for the past 41 years and was a high school sports official. He coached little league football and youth basketball. He enjoyed all sporting events and spending time with his family.

    Survivors include his wife, Dawn Mahoney, of Pendleton; mother, Wilma Gene Mahoney of Anderson; two sons, Tyler Mahoney of Ingalls and Dustin (wife, Brittnii) Mahoney of Pendleton; two daughters, Logan Mahoney and Adrianna Mahoney, both of Pendleton; a granddaughter, Madison Mahoney of Pendleton; brother, Michael P. Mahoney, of Anderson; brothers-in-law, Jeff (wife, Hyang Ock) Philbert of Anderson, Rodney (wife, Penny) Philbert of Terre Haute and Mark (wife, Heather) Philbert of Pendleton; special friend and cousin, John Armington of Pendleton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are special friends, David Garrett and Kenny and Evie Walters.

    Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jerry J. Mahoney.

    Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery.

    Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

    Sandra Davis, 68, Anderson, passed away October 1, 2007 at Methodist Hospital after a sudden illness.

    She was born July 9, 1939 in Holcomb, MO. She lived in Pendleton and Anderson most of her life. She was working as a home health care provider.

    She was a member of Eagles Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.

    She is survived by four children, Dawn (husband, Jerry) Mahoney of Pendleton, Jeff (wife, Hyang Ock) Philbert of Anchorage, AK, Rodney (wife, Penny) Philbert of Terre Haute and Mark (wife, Heather) Philbert of Pendleton; 13 grandchildren, Tyler Mahoney, Dustin (wife, Brittnii) Mahoney, Logan Mahoney, Adrianna Mahoney, Seth Philbert, Jonathan Philbert, Joshua Philbert, Nicholas Philbert, Hanna Philbert, Taylor Philbert, Brian Philbert, Brooke Philbert and Kayla Philbert; great granddaughter, Madison Mahoney; and special friend, Emilio Contreraz.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Norma Puckett; daughter, Julie Philbert; and brother, Richard Puckett.

    Services will be conducted at 10:30 Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

    Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

    Norma H. Puckett, 83, Anderson, died October 2, 2003 at St. John's Medical Center after a sudden illness.

    She was born September 7, 1920 in Holcomb, MO, the daughter of Robley Howell and Cora (Crow) Hogue. She had lived in Anderson since 1946. In 1979 she retired from Delco Remy.

    She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #174, Alpha Charter Chapter American Business Women, and the Order of Eastern Star #71 in Elwood. She attended the Methodist Church.

    She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Davis of Anderson; seven grandchildren, Dawn (husband, Jerry) Mahoney of Anderson, Jeff (wife, Marilyn) Philbert of Alaska, Julie (husband, David) Bubert of Waco, TX, Rodney (wife, Penny) Philbert of Terre Haute, Mark (wife, Heather) Philbert of Pendleton, Justin (wife, Heidi) Puckett of Anderson, and Holly Puckett of Greenwood; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Ted Hogue of Van Nuys, CA; and special friend, Eric Flowers.

    She was preceded in death by her life companion, Joseph Puckett; parents, R.H. and Cora Hogue; son, Richard H. Puckett; and three brothers, Owen Hogue, Ralph Hogue, and Robley Hogue.

    Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Baker officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

    Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
