    Private services for Kennith Jackson, 56, of Lubbock will have as the officiant the Rev. Jerry D. Graham, pastor of Skyline Baptist Church.

    Burial in Idalou Cemetery will be directed by Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.

    Jackson died Wednesday, March 9, 1994, in University Medical Center.

    He was born on April 18, 1937, in Wichita Falls and had resided in Lubbock since 1984, when he moved from Bedford. He married Barbara Wood on March 16, 1967, in Carlsbad, N.M. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a Baptist, a member of the Lubbock Lions Club and was an amateur radio operator. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1990.

    He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Shari Murchison of Lubbock and Denise Schilling of Dimmitt; two sisters, Jessie Morehead of Cabool, Mo., and Dortha Harrington of Clarksville, Miss.; and two grandchildren.

    The family suggests memorials to the Lubbock Lions Club.

    Linda Erath Jackson of Lubbock passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012 at the age of 73. She was born December 28, 1938 in Spur, TX to George and Gracie Erath. Linda graduated from Spur High School in 1957 and worked as a secretary until retiring in 1988. She was affiliated with Steel Hill Church of Christ.

    Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Shari Murchison of Lubbock and Denise Schilling and husband Lee of Panhandle; four grandchildren, Jesica and Magen Murchison and Shelby and Amy Schilling; and one great-grandchild, Davin Thorpe.

    Linda was preceded in death by her father, George, in 1994; mother, Gracie in 2002; and sister, Bitsy Erath in 1994.

    Services for George Edwin Erath, 80, of Spur, were at the Highway 70 Church of Christ at 2:30 p.m. Ernie Bishop, church minister, officiated. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Erath died Sunday, September 11, 1994 at Methodist Hospital, Lubbock, following a brief illness. He was born in Dickens County October 7, 1913 and had lived here most of his life. He married Gracie Patterson in Spur on March 9, 1938 and she survives him.

    Mr. Erath was a farmer and a member of the Steel Hill Church of Christ. He was a Mason. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Jessie "Bitsy" Erath on July 23, 1994.

    Other survivors include a daughter, Linda Jackson, Lubbock; two grandchildren, Shari and Pat Murchison, Lubbock and Denise and Lee Schilling, Dimmitt; two great grandchildren, Jesica Murchison and Magen Murchison, both of Lubbock.

    Pallbearers included Jackie Young, Clomer Randall, Dwight Dillashaw, Robert Hahn, Mutt Hagins and Danny Randall.

    Services for Gracy Patterson Erath, 84, of Lubbock, formerly of Spur, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday April 6, 2002 at Hwy 70 Church of Christ with Ernie Bishop officiating. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

    She died Wednesday, April 3, 2002 in Lubbock.

    She was born Dec. 11, 1917 in Jayton to Henry and Nora Harrison Patterson. She married George Erath on March 9, 1938, in Spur. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1994. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and a member of Highway 70 Church of Christ.

    She was also preceded in death by one daughter Jessie "Bitsy," Erath in 1994.

    She is survived by one daughter, Linda Jackson of Lubbock; a brother, Jerry Patterson of Denver City; one sister, Clydie Boydstun of Ceres, Calif.; two grandchildren, Shari Murchison and Denise Schilling; and four great-grandchildren, Jesica Murchison, Magen Murchison, Shelby Schilling and Amy Schilling.
