Services for Joseph L. Hutto, 48, were held at the First Baptist Church in Olney with Rev. W.H. Townsend officiating.

Former residents of Olney, the Hutto family moved to DeQueen, Arkansas in 1940. He was engaged there in real estate and a trading post business.

A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the Baptist church.

Survived by his wife; one son - J.L. Hutto, Jr; one daughter - Mrs. Pauline Chapman; one step-daughter - Mrs. Mary McCuistion; his mother - Mrs. C.N. Hutto; five sisters; two brothers; six grandchildren.

Joseph married Lorene Harrison 14 Feb 1936, Frederick, Tillman County, Oklahoma, USA. Lorene (daughter of Andrew Jackson Harrison and Elnora Harlin Hamlin) was born 9 Nov 1903, Jayton, Kent County, Texas, USA; died 13 Mar 1990, Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas, USA; was buried 15 Mar 1990, Restland Cemetery - Olney, Texas, USA.
