    Gay Bohn was born on Sept. 8, 1946. She died suddenly on June 12, 2001 of heart failure.

    Gay was a loving mother to Michelle Voelker, a caring grandmother to Melissa, David and Nicholas, an understanding mother-in-law to Herman Voelker, a loyal sister to Debra Brown and Bill Rinkor. She was a loving aunt and in-law to her very large family here in Pagosa.

    Services were held June 16 in Pagosa Springs.

    Donations are requested to be made to Special Olympics care of the Bank of the San Juans.

    Delores "Dee" Campbell, 61, 2766 E. 21st St., died Wednesday at Medical Center Hospital.

    She was born Jan. 20, 1923, in Gorman.

    Mrs. Campbell was a salesperson at West Texas Office Supply in Midland.

    Survivors include one son, William Henry Rinker of Palm Springs, Calif.; two daughters, Evelyn Gayle Bohn of Norwalk, Calif., and Debbra Kay Rinker of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; one brother, Ernest Dean Carwile; one sister; mother, Virgie Sims of Odessa; father, John Samuel Carwile of Dublin; and one grandchild.

    The family suggests memorials to New Beginnings through the Odessa Council of Alcoholism.

    COMANCHE - Funeral for John S. Carwile, 89, of Gustine, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Gustine.

    Carwile died Friday night in a Dublin hospital.

    He was a farmer, a rancher and a Baptist.

    Services for Virgie Viola Sims, 93, 2766 E. 21st. St., are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Sixth and Jackson Church of Christ with Earl Danley officiating.

    Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

    Mrs. Sims died Wednesday at Medical Center Hospital. She was born Feb. 9, 1895, in Denton. She married David L. Sims. He died in 1969.

    Mrs. Sims had lived in Odessa for 50 years. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Royal Neighbors and American Business women's Association, and was a supervisor distributor for Shaklee Products.

    Survivors include a son, Ernest D. Carwile of Johnson City; a daughter, Gillene C. Smith of Odessa; two sisters, Floy Morrison of Gorman and Nora Fewell of Sealy; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

    the family suggests memorials to Odessa Christian School.
