    Daniel Rankin, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Betty Jo Rankin; cherished son of the late Samuel and Hilda Rankin; devoted father of Susan Marie (Len) Tamborski, Daniel "Butch" Patrick (Karen Marie) Rankin, Kathleen Rankin, Timothy Rankin, Michele (Timothy) Burke, and Craig Rankin; loving grandfather of ten; treasured great-grandfather of eleven; dear brother of Betty Barry and Kay (Philip) Kempland.

    Daniel was a meat cutter all of his life, spending most of that time at Schnucks. He had a passion for wood carving and would always share his creations. Daniel enjoyed the outdoors, growing up, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes and going hunting. Daniel was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

    Memorials may be made in Daniel's name to Knights of Columbus, Florissant (St. Ferdinand).

    Ernest Wilson Crow was born on August 31, 1916, in Dunklin County, Mo., the son of the late Eston and Florence Goodman Crow and died on Monday morning, September 20, 1965, in his home in Ferguson, Mo., at the age of 49 years.

    Mr. Crow made his home in and around Holcomb, Mo., from birth until about 10 years ago when he moved with his family to Ferguson, Mo. He is well-known and highly respected in and around the Holcomb area.

    He had been ill for several months suffering from the effects of cancer.

    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fern Crow of Ferguson; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Jo Rankin of Florrisant, Mo., and Miss Sheila Crow of the Air Force and stationed in Syracuse, New York; one son, William Crow of St. Louis, Mo., six grandchildren; two brothers, Edmond Ray of San Diego, California and J. C. Crow of Holcomb, Missouri; seven sisters, Mrs. Freda Luther of Holcomb, Mrs. Tempest Winn of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Pearl Davis of Holcomb, Mrs. Jackie Correll of San Diego, California, Mrs. Cora Hogue of Bragg City, Mrs. Lora Wilson of California and Mrs. Verna Vaughn of Indiana, together with many other relatives and a host of friends.

    Mass was said at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Kennett. Rosary service was held on Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. in the Russell Mortuary in Piggott, Ark.

    Funeral services were held on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. in the Russell Chapel in Piggott, Ark., with Rev. Wallace Elinger officiating. Burial was in Stanfield Cemetery with Russell Mortuary of Gideon in charge of arrangements.
