Obituary:

SHREVEPORT - Services for Mr. M. A. "Doc" Ehrhardt, 75, of Shreveport, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday July 6 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. The Rev. Deborah Drash, associate minister of Broadmoor United Methodist Church, and Dr. N. O. Pugh, minister of Senior Adults at First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Park.

Mr. Ehrhardt, a merchant and operator of Keep Happy Grocery for 40 years, died Wednesday July 4, 1984, at Highland Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport, and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Triple Triangle Sunday School Class. Mr. Ehrhardt was a past potentate of El Karubah Shrine and was a member of the Broadmoor Blue Lodge, the Shreveport Scottish Rite and the York Rite Bodies.

He is survived by one son, Mr. Nevel H. Ehrhardt of Shreveport; three grandchildren, Laura Leigh, Author Duke and Nevel Neo Ehrhardt; two sisters, Alice Humphries and Anita Payne, of Shreveport; two sisters-in-law, Kathleen Ehrhardt and Virginia Ford, of Shreveport; and a number of other relatives.

Pallbearers: Harold Gene Smith, Jim Rosenblath, S. D. Neal, Bryant Yopp, Bill Whitaker and Robert Lee.

Honorary pallbearers: Hulon Bellar, Bill Ellis, Ed Clarke, Pete Murray, George Pitman, M. G. Carso, George Kirspel, Dr. Joe Paine, Dr. Sydney Hunt and Randy Egger.
