    Robert Edwin Nowell, 57, a former resident of Wichita Falls, died Jan. 1 in a Tucson, Ariz. hospital.

    Services and burial were in Phoeniz, Ariz.

    Nowell was born May 19, 1922, in Texas. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a resident of Quartez, Ariz. at the time of his death.

    Survivors include his mother, Lona Nowell, two daughters, Martha Dockery of Bryan, Texas, and Tina Diane Nowell of Dallas, three sons, Mark, Mike and Gary Nowell, all of Globe, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. L. L. Allen of Dallas and Mrs. W. T. Terrell of Richardson, Texas, seven brothers, A. D. Nowell of Corsicana, Texas, J. L. Nowell of Coolidge, Ariz.; Burl, Russell, Rodger and Jimmy Nowell, all of Wichita Falls, and C. D. Nowell of Globe, and five grandchildren.
