Obituary:

Bob Jones, 80, of Fredericksburg, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005.A memorial service was held today, Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at 11 a.m., at Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Karl Schwarz officiating.Arrangements were under the direction of Beckmann Funeral Home.

Jones was born June 21, 1925, in Moss Point, MS, the son of Oris W. Jones and Helen P. Easley Jones. He married Genevieve Jones on Aug. 8, 1987, in Fredericksburg and she survives. He was a retired stationary engineer with St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston.

In addition to his wife, Jones is survived by three step-children and spouses, including Rosemary and Matthew Spitzer of California, Julie and George Fisher of Pipe Creek and Robert F. and Nancey Rodd of The Woodlands.

Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
