Billy Bruce 'Bill' Walton, 84, of Wichita Falls, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Rosemont Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
A son of the late Bruce and Corrie (Jones) Walton, Billy was born on July 8, 1930 in Knox County, Texas. He served our country proudly in the United States Army. Bill lived most of his life in Goree, Texas where he owned and operated a gas station, and later worked for Phillips Petroleum until retirement. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Ginger Walton; his son, Kyle Walton; and his brother, Wayne Walton.
He is survived by his son, David Walton of Fairview, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Nicole Hammond and husband John, and Alyson Walton; his great-grandson, Creed Hammond; his sister, Margie Wilson of Wichita Falls; and numerous other family and friends.
