    Obituary:

    Bobby G. Jones, 71, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at home, with his family at his side after battling brain cancer for two years.

    A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2007, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Longview.

    He was born September 23, 1936, at his home in Longview, and he was a lifelong resident there, having graduated from Longview High School and Kilgore Junior College. After 20 years in research and development at Texas Eastman, he left to start his own business, Bob's Custom Pools. He later expanded his contracting business into Jones Construction Specialties and continued until illness forced his retirement. He was well-known both for his quality of work and for standing behind it.

    Mr. Jones was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 404, Scottish Rite and Sharon Temple Shrine. He worked on behalf of the Shriner's Hospitals for Children in Shreveport, Louisiana, and Galveston, having organized blood drives and participated in fundraisers.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Archie I. Jones; mother, Bess Kepler; sister and brother-in-law, Billy and Bill Schultz; and two brothers, Archie Jones Jr. and Clayton Jones.

    He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ginger Jones; son, Clayton Jones of Longview; daughter, Kasey Dickens and husband, Shane Dickens; grandchildren, Shalyn and Kaylee Dickens, and Cory Jones; nephews and wives, Artie and Donna Schultz of Garland, David and Kim Schultz, and Steve and Cindy Schultz, both of Plano; four great-nephews and great-nieces; and five great-great-nieces.

    Mr. Steve L. Crnkovic, 76, of Longview, Texas died Monday, Jan. 12 at his residence.

    Mr. Crnkovic was born June 8, 1921 in Zwolle. He had been a resident of Longview since 1952. He was an original organizing member of the Gregg County Sheriff's Reserve where he was a Lieutenant and Administrative Officer of the Reserves. He also was a member of the Oil Patch RV Club and St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

    Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with entombment following at Rosewood Park Mausoleum. Monsignor Edward Shopka officiated.

    Survivors include two daughter, Cindy Crnkovic of Tyler, Texas and Ginger and husband, Bob Jones of Longview, Texas; three sisters, Helen C. Byers and Lois C. Sava, both of Zwolle; and Josephine C. Jottes of Shreveport; four brothers, Frank Crnkovic and Donald Crnkovic, both of Shreveport, Pete Crnkovic of Frierson and Mickey Crnkovic of Zwolle; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Crnkovic was preceded in death by his parents, Slavko (Ed) Crnkovic and Frazine Ebarb Crnkovic; and two brothers, Joseph Crnkovic and Johnny Crnkovic.

    Mass of Christian Burial for Steve L. Crnkovic, 76, of Longview will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Monsignor Edward Shopka officiating. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Park Mausoleum under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Crnkovic died Monday afternoon at his residence.

    Mr. Crnkovic was born June 8, 1921, in Zwolle, La. He had been a resident of Longview since 1952 and a salesman for Vernon Co. of Des Moines, Iowa. He was currently employed by Constable Jim Montgomery.

    Mr. Crnkovic was an original organizing member of the Gregg County Sheriff's Reserve, where he was a lieutenant and administrative officer of the Reserves. He also was a member of the Oil Patch RV Club and St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie L. Crnkovic, in 1994.

    He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Crnkovic of Tyler; daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Bob Jones of Longview; three sisters; four brothers; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    The family will receive friends 4-7 this evening at Rader Funeral Home.

    MANY - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today for Edd Crnkovic, 79, who died Wednesday after a short illness.

    The services will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle with the Rev. Robert Friend officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Frazine E. Crnkovic of Zwolle, died Friday, Feb. 1, 1985, at Sabine Medical Center in Many, at 4 p.m. She was 82 years old.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Crnkovic were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, with Msgr. Matthew J. Scanlon officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
