    Patrick Gene Malmstrom III

    Patrick Gene Malmstrom III, age 32, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 in Little Rock. He was born January 4, 1991 in Waco, Texas, to Patrick Gene and Brooke Ragland Malmstrom II.

    Patrick is the owner and operator of ASCO Vending. He was involved in many hobbies and activities. Patrick was the drummer for the Iron-E Band. He loved to teach family and friends the board game, Dominion. Patrick was an avid gun enthusiast, pipe, tobacco, and cigar expert, and certified diver. He loved cars and reading, especially the Bible. Every Tuesday night, Patrick would spend the evening with his mom doing takeout.

    Patrick is survived by his parents, Rick and Brooke Malmstrom; two sisters, Kayla Christine Malmstrom, Hannah Brooke Malmstrom and her husband, Clint Travis; paternal grandparents, Pat and Peggy Malmstrom; maternal grandparents, Larry and Barbara Ragland; nephew, Maverick Malmstrom; uncles, John (Pam) Ragland, Doug (Brooke) Malmstrom, and Scott Malmstrom; cousins, Parker Ragland, McCaul Ragland, Jake and Alice Ann Malmstrom, Max Malmstrom, Maddie Kate Malmstrom, Luke Malmstrom, Grace Malmstrom, and Hope Malmstrom; cousin/roommate, Dalton Monroe.

    Memorial services will be 12 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Little Rock Church of Christ located at 10301 N. Rodney Parham Road Suite E5 with Dennis Carrow officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Operation Underground Railroad. Please visit the website at

    SHREVEPORT, LA - Elizabeth Houston Kelker, 76, of Shreveport, Louisiana, died Monday, April 6, 1998. Born in Sarepta, Louisiana, she was a homemaker and a member of Willow Point Baptist Church in Shreveport. She was a wonderful lady, loving mother, caring grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to many.

    She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kim M. and Jerry Dalrymple of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Peggy Malmstrom of Roland, Arkansas; two brothers, Ottis Houston of Pontotoc, Mississippi, David Lee Houston and wife, Jean of Walker Louisiana; a sister-in-law, Marce Houston of Shreveport; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kelker; a brother, Lester Houston and a granddaughter, Rosalyn Dalrymple.

    The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 9, 1998 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, with Rev. Sonny Simpson and Dr. Jack Hazlewood officiating. Interment will be in Forest Park West.

    Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.

    Memorials may be made to Arkansas Cancer Research Center, Little Rock, Arkansas or to Willow Point Baptist Church, Shreveport, Louisiana
