Obituary:

Isom Roy, 80, died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, in a local hospital.

He was a native of Eunice and a longtime resident of Lake Charles. He was an Army veteran and had served in World War II. He was a member of VFW Post 2130 and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Roy of Lake Charles; one son, Toby Roy of Lake Charles; one daughter, Barbara Ann Rennick of Beaumont, Texas; two sisters, Billie Lou Roy of Odessa, Texas, and Alice Manuel of Eunice; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

His services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Hixson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m.- 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. Wednesday.
