Obituary:

Burnie C. Taylor, 72, of 1210 1/2 Kenley, died Sunday at a nursing home here.

Services were at 2 p.m. today at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Lunsford, pastor of First Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiating. Burial was in Byers, Texas, Cemetery.

Taylor was born April 28, 1913, in Clay County. He was a retired oil driller.

Survivors include his wife, Beth; a son, Frank of Wichita Falls; two daughters, Ruth Gardner of Burkburnett and Bernice Vaughn of Wichita Falls; a sister, Ruth Carman of Euless, Texas; three brothers, Ben of Electra and Syl and Luke of Wichita Falls; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
