Elbert James Smyer Services Held Here
Last rites were conducted Thursday morning in Hampton-Vaughan-Merkle Funeral Home chapel for Elbert James Smyer, 42, who died Wednesday in his home at 1649 Huff.
Dr. W. B. Slack, pastor of Floral Heights Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. L. O. Tribble of Wichita Falls; a sister, Mrs. R. W. Koontz of Bowie, and a brother, Billy Smyer of Wichita Falls.
