Autry Dixon, 84, of Navasota, Texas passed away September 18, 2012 in Longview, Texas. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 in the Fannette family plot at Wheat Cemetery, in Millican, Texas.

Autry was born April 27, 1928 in Stamps, Arkansas, the son of Joseph P. and Gladys (Nix) Dixon. He was an automotive painter for 37 years and owned his own paint and body shop.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister and his wife, Billie (Fannette) Dixon.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Priscilla and Kirby Pepper of Longview; son, A.P. Dixon, Jr. of Navasota; granddaughter, Nicole Rose Pepper of Longview; three brothers, William, Cecil and Marion all of Stamps, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Billie Jo (Fanette) Dixon, 71, of Navasota, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at her residence. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. Services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Billie Jo Fannette Dixon, 71, of Navasota passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at her residence. The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm Tuesday, July 26, and funeral services are set for 10am Wednesday, both at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Wheat Cemetery in Millican.

Billie Jo was born in Houston on August 23, 1939, the daughter of Benjamin and Laura (Greer) Fannette. In September of 1955, she married Autry Dixon in Navasota and loved him for 55 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Barbara Martin and Vera Carr.

Survivors include her husband; daughter and son-in-law, Priscilla Rose and Kirby Pepper of Longview; son, Paul Dixon of Navasota; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sara and William McDaniel of Angleton, Elaine and Clint Trcnak of Tyler, Marie Fazzino of Millican and Kay Williams of Bryan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Andrew and Mary Fannette of Jacksonville, and B.L. and Fleeta Fannette of Millican; granddaughter, Nicole Rose Pepper of Longview; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Paul Dixon of Navasota, Kirby Pepper of Longview, Clint Trcnak of Tyler, Jimmy Fridel of Millican, John Fazzino of College Station and Darrell Carr of Henderson. Honorary pallbearers are Bill McDaniel of Angleton and Eric Medina of Millican.

NAVASOTA - Services for Laura Greer Burkhalter, 95, of Millican are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.

The Revs. O.L. Powell and Glenn Murphy of Greater Christian Life Church will officiate. Burial will be in Peach Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Burkhalter died Sunday in Brazos County.

She was born in Peach Creek and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Burkhalter.

Survivors include six daughters and five sons-in-law, Marie Fazzino of Millican, Kay and Bill Easterling of Bryan, Sarah and Bill McDaniels of Angleton, Vera and W.B. Carr of Willis, Billie Jo and Autrey Dixon of Navasota and Elaine and Clint Trncak of Tyler; two sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Mary Fanette and Ben and Fleeta Fanette, all of Jacksonville; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
