    Raymond B. Dockery Jr., 61, of Caldwell, died Monday, August 24, 2015. A Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the funeral home.

    Raymond was born January 16, 1954 in Bryan, Texas to Raymond B. and Lucile Kocurek Dockery. He was a Lutheran. Raymond was a mailman and worked for the United States Postal Service for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, tubing and being with family. He was a workaholic as well as an avid gopher hunter.

    Raymond was preceded in death by his father Raymond B. Dockery, Sr.

    He is survived by his wife Linda, his mother, Lucile, and two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond "Rayme" Dockery, III and wife Jennifer of Bryan, Texas, and Nicholas Dockery and wife Melanie of Caldwell; two brothers Glen Dockery of Bryan, Texas and John Young and wife Theresa of Mississippi; two sisters Debra English and Daphine Dockery both of Bryan, Texas; and grandchildren are Kyla Ringer, Beau Dockery and Sofia Dockery.

    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 502 W. 26th St., Bryan, Texas 77803.

    Marsha Ann Nowell

    CROCKETT - Marsha Ann Nowell, 34, of Crockett, and formerly of Bryan, died in a car accident Monday morning.

    Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hillier Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Monty Gideon of Dallas officiating. Burial will follow at the Rest Ever Memorial Park.

    Nowell was born in Wichita Falls and had lived in Crockett for one month. She was a Bryan resident for seven years. She was a member of Lighthouse International Outreach Center.

    Survivors include her mother, Joyce Nowell of Dallas; three sons, Ramie Dockery, Robert Lawrence and Roger Dale Lawrence, all of Crockett; one daughter, Dawn Forster of Bryan; and three brothers, Gary Nowell of Bryan; Michael Nowell and Mark Nowell, both of Globe, Ariz.

    Robert Edwin Nowell, 57, a former resident of Wichita Falls, died Jan. 1 in a Tucson, Ariz. hospital.

    Services and burial were in Phoeniz, Ariz.

    Nowell was born May 19, 1922, in Texas. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a resident of Quartez, Ariz. at the time of his death.

    Survivors include his mother, Lona Nowell, two daughters, Martha Dockery of Bryan, Texas, and Tina Diane Nowell of Dallas, three sons, Mark, Mike and Gary Nowell, all of Globe, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. L.     Marvin Brothers, 57, was killed in an early morning traffic accident Wednesday becoming the city's second traffic fatality this year.

    A pickup truck hit Brothers just before 1 a.m. on Virginia Street near its intersection with Waco. Patrolman C.R. Apple identified the driver as Charles J. Hill, 35, St. Johns Mo., who is visiting relatives here.

    Brothers, who lived at 2714 California, was pronounced dead on arrival at Wichita General Hospital.

    Both the driver of the vehicle and a passenger Dale Blair, said they did not see the man before they heard something strike the car.

    Both said heavy rain was falling.

    Brothers' death was the first traffic fatality in Wichita Falls in 121 days. A Lamesa man, killed on the Henrietta Road, was the only other fatality this year.

    Hampton-Vaughan-Merkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Funeral services have been set for 3:30 p.m. Friday from the chapel of Hampton-Vaughan-Merkle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.

    Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Nelson Walker and Mrs. R.C. Phillips both of Wichita Falls, and Mrs. George Edleman of Los Angeles, Mrs. R.E. Nowell of Santa Monica Calif., and Mrs. L.H. Crow of Houston; three brothers, Buford Brothers of Seymour, Bernie Brothers of Burleson and Sam Brothers of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Bryant of Seagraves and Mrs. Maudie Nix of Seymour, and 11 grandchildren.
