    Obituary:

Shana Renee Shirley Ogden, 52, of Bryan, Texas passed away January 26, 2023 peacefully surrounded by family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Reliance Baptist Church.

Shana was born in Bryan, Texas on January 16, 1971 to Gregory and Linda Shirley. Shana lived in Bryan within the Reliance Community for most of her life.

Shana's achievements have been rewarded with trophies but by our appreciation of her talent to give every bit of herself in her work, her gatherings, and her contributions to others. Shana truly had a heart bigger than Texas. She was a sister to everyone and often paid forward the blessings she was bestowed with. Shana was a daughter, sister, niece, mom, but she was so proud to become a Nana!

Shana was the life of any gathering with her huge smile and her laugh. She loved to be with her family and friedns and made sure to let them know how much she loved them. Birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's, no matter the occasion, she always had a little gift to give everyone. She always had others in her thoughts and ejoyed making others smile. Shana loved to sing karaoke and she enjoyed riding her motorcycle when she was able to do so.

Shana's motto was: Hugs, Love & Smiles

Shana was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2017. As treatments made it harder for her to be too far from home, she found a group of friends in our neighborhood and the "porch pals" were formed. We spent many evenings laughing, crying and helping each other through the things that life threw our way. Every loss and every victory, we supported each other.

Shana has had many struggles in her battle with ovarian cancer over the past six years. Some of that time was spent fighting side by side with her mother who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2020. In 2021, Shana also lost her one and only son, Cameron during her battle with cancer. She still managed to fight her own battle with strength and dignity. Although she has lost her battle, she has truly won the war. She is no longer bound by this worls and the suffering she had endured. Shana has made her final journey HOME and is with her loved ones that have gone before her.

Shana was preceded in death by her son, Cameron Ogden; mother, Linda Shirley; great-niece, Arianna Battelle; and her grandparents. She is survived by the biggest joy in her life, granddaughter, Delilah Ogden; daughter-in-love, Heather Ogden; father, Gregory Shirley; mother-in-love, Hazel Ogden; sister, Marquel Knapp; nephew, Richard Shirley-Salinas (girlfriend, Dealyn Hedger); niece, Elizabeth Knapp; uncles, aunts, cousins and an uncountable number of friends that are considered as family.
