    Ben Alan Angerstein Sr., 83, passed away on Feb. 14, 2019.

    Mr. Angerstein was born in Houston, Texas, and lived most of his life in Lake Charles, La. Mr. Angerstein retired after 20 years as a Staff Sargent with the U.S. Air Force. He was also a Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Deputy for several years.

    He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Thomas, and Donna May and husband David; son, Ben Angerstein Jr. and wife Tracy; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Sylvia Angerstein.

    A memorial service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at 1 p.m. The Very Rev. Tony Fontenot will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.

    Earline LeBleu Angerstein Necaise, age 82, of Long Beach, passed away on January 21, 2020.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Arsan LeBleu; her mother, Dora Taylor; her husbands, Ben Angerstein and Everett Necaise.

    Survivors include her children, Debra Thomas, Donna May (David), and Ben Angerstein, Jr. (Tracy); 7 grandchildren, Alicia Allen (Aaron), Brandy Stiles (Nicholas), Amber May, Cory May (Sarah), Erin Sweeney, Ashley Sweeney, and Aden Angerstein; and 9 great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Earline was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was also known for her love of Cajun cooking.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Visitation will be form 9 - 10 am in the church.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 39105.

    Funeral services for Arsan LeBleu Jr., 68, of 4307 Dean St., will be at 10 a.m. today, July 9, from Christ the King Catholic Church.

    The Rev. Keith Portier will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

    Mr. LeBleu died at 6:32 p.m. Saturday in a local hospital.

    He was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles and retired in 1975 from Cit-Con after serving 25 years with the company.

    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Monique Breaux LeBleu of Lake Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Earline Necaise of Pass Christian, Miss. and Mrs. Carol Kershaw of Lake Charles.

    Also, one stepson, Ronald Gene Cradeur of Duson; two brothers, Joseph Martin and Fremont LeBleu, both of Lake Charles; one sister, Mrs. Eddie Hebert Sr. of Lake Charles; and six grandchildren.

    NEDERLAND - Dora Marie Taylor, 74, of Nederland died Monday at Gaspard's Nursing Care Center in Port Acres.

    She was a native of Duson, La. and a longtime Nederland area resident. She was a retired licensed vocational nurse and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.

    Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Catholic Church with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, under the direction of Pat A. Riley Funeral Home.

    A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

    Survivors include her daughters, Earline Necaise of Passchristian, Miss., Ann Whitehead of Nederland; sisters, Hilda Beach of Conroe, Ludia Watson of Lake Charles, La.; a brother, Clifton Chesson of Sulphur, La.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

    Hold Rites for Arsan LeBleu

    Funeral services for Arsan LeBleu, 71, of 1016 Alamo street were set for 2 p.m. today at St. Margaret's Catholic church with the Rev. George A. Bodin, pastor, officiating.

    Burial will be in Sallier cemetery. The cortege will leave the Hixson funeral home at 1:45 p.m. to go to the church.

    A retired farmer, Mr. LeBleu died at 4:40 a.m. Sunday at his residence after an illness of about one year.

    He was born here June 11, 1881, and had lived in Lake Charles off his life. He had retired from farming about six years ago.

    Mr. LeBleu is survived by three sons, Joseph, Arsan, Jr., and Fremont E. LeBleu, all of Lake Charles; one daughter, Mrs. E. D. Hebert of Lake Charles; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Volsan LeBleu of Lake Charles.

    Mrs. Madora LeBleu Dies in Hospital

    Mrs. Madora LeBleu, 67, of Black Bayou community, died at 2:45 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's hospital.

    The funeral will leave from the home 10 miles south of Lake Charles at 2:30 p.m. Saturday for services at St. Margaret's Church in Hi-Mount at 3 p.m. The Rev. George A. Bodin, pastor, will officiate. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Hixon funeral home.

    Mrs. LeBleu is survived by her husband, Arsan LeBleu; three sons, J.M., Arsan, Jr., and Fremont LeBleu, all of Lake Charles; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Hebert of Lake Charles; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Amelia LeDoux, Mrs. Lucy Ogea, and Mrs. Geneva Andrus, all of Lake Charles; three brothers, Simion, Fremont and Preston LeBleu; her mother, Mrs. Palmer LeBleu of Lake Charles.

    Pallbearers will be the three sons and three brothers.
