    Albert "Al" COE Age 87, died peacefully on Jan. 21, 2009 in Shoreline, WA. Born in Alabama, he served as a bombadier in Leece, Italy. A proud Texas Aggie, he worked 35 yrs for Cities Service Oil Co. in TX, KS, & OK. He married Helen Stephens May, 1946. They were active members of Westgate Chapel, Edmonds, WA. Al is survived by his wife, Helen, son Jeff Coe, daughter & son-in-law Beth & Tom Hanson, and grandson Colin Coe Hanson; sister Juanita Ledford, Chattanooga. Memorial to be held at CRISTA Nursing Center, Saturday, Feb. 21st at 1:30pm.

    STEPHENS, George David, 82, of Bryan, TX, stepfather of Mrs. Phyllis Windsor of Morrilton, died Wednesday, February 2, 1977. He was formerly of Dover. Other survivors include his wife, Mrs. Laura Stephens; four sons, W. R. Stephens of Iowa and Gene, David L. and Ronald Stephens, all of Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Coe of Oklahoma; a stepdaughter Mrs. Tressie Coone of Clinton; a brother, Hardy Stephens of Texas; a sister, Mrs. Ila James of Texas; 14 grandchildren and three great grand-children. Funeral services were 1 p.m. Monday at Rupert Baptist Church at Clinton. Burial was at Lost Corner Cemetery by Coffman Funeral Home.

    Funeral services are pending for Mr. George D. Stephens, 82, of 3500 N. Texas Ave. in Bryan, at the Hillier Funeral Home.

    Mr. Stephens died Wednesday in a local hospital.

    Hattie Stephens King
    August 2, 1902 - June 24, 1991

    Funeral services for Hattie Stephens King, 88, of Bryan will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hillier Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

    The Rev. Pat Furtaw of Bethel Temple Assembly of God in Bryan will officiate. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 5-8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until service time Thursday.

    Mrs. King died Monday evening in a local hospital.

    Born in Brazos County, Mrs. King was a lifelong resident of Bryan. She worked as a clerk at Loupot's Bookstore and at the College Exchange Store.

    She was a Baptist.

    Mrs. King was preceded in death by two husbands; two sons, L. A. Allen and Barker Allen; and a sister, Mrs. Kyle Pearson.

    Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gene S. and Ora F. Stephens of Shelbyville; a daughter and son-in-law, Helen F. and Albert Coe of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Milton S. Allen of Anderson; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Fuchs of Bryan and Lurl Allen Swank of Huntsville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
