    Ronald Layne Smith, Jr., 57, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on September 22, 2014, in Houston. He was born July 24, 1957, in Baytown, Texas, to Ronald Smith, Sr. and Elizabeth Smith and grew up in Highlands, Texas. On May 21, 1977, he married the love of his life, Terri Clement.

    Ronny graduated from Sterling High School in 1975 and was a contributing player of the Sterling 1972 state play-off team. He was selected to the all American football team and continued his football career when he attended Texas A & M University. He attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he volunteered many hours and could always be seen in December at the Christmas tree lot. He enjoyed spending time with family and loved the outdoors. One of Ronny's most important roles was as "Pappa" and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ronny always made the best of every situation, always had a smile on his face, and loved to joke around. He retired from LyondellBasell

    He is preceded in death by his father, Ronny Smith, Sr. and his father-in-law Raymond Clement. Ronny is survived by his wife of 37 years, Terri; three daughters, Stacey Mullins and her husband, Jason, Mindy Vyoral and her husband, Rob, and Ronda Smith; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Bryce Stork, Dalton Mullins, Dylan and Devyn Vyoral; mother, Elizabeth Smith and Mike Guidry; brother, Danny Smith and wife, Marianne; sisters, Sharon Cotton and husband, Ray, and Lisa Henning and husband, Randall.

    Ronny is also survived by his mother-in-law, Rosemary Clement; brothers-in-law, Raymond Clement and wife Linda, Bobby Clement and wife, Pat, and John Clement and wife, Sue; sisters-in-law, Suzanne Alimena and husband, Dave, Candy Kovalcik and husband, Ronnie, Sandy Martin and husband, Ricky, Jana Deardorff and husband, Barry, Amy Warfel and husband, Tim, and Denice Massengale and husband, Timmy; sixty-three nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins and friends.

    The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m., with a vigil service at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sterling-White Cemetery in Highlands. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Chris Parkey, Sammy Quisenberry, Lee Henning, Jonathan and Aaron Cotton, Jason and Derrek Smith, Steven Kovalcik, Christopher Clement, Joshua Massengale and Colby Massengale. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Danny Smith, Ray Cotton, Randall Henning, John Clement, Bobby Clement, Raymond Clement, Timmy Massengale, Tim Warfel, Barry Deardorff, Ricky Martin, Ronnie Kovalcik and Dave Alimena

    Raymond Clement, Sr.(Paw Paw), 77, of Baytown, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009, at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 12, 1932, in Highlands, Texas, to Gaston and Orline (Sonnier) Clement. He married the love of his life, Rosemary Michalsky Clement, on April 19, 1952. He retired from Platzer Shipyard. His family was very important to him. His greatest joy was spending time with them and their many friends at his home in Crystal Beach. Affectionately know as "Paw Paw," he will be missed by many.

    Preceded in death by his parents; brother, GI Clement; sisters, Bea Sullivan and Thelma Clement; and granddaughter, Amy Danielle Burnett; Mr. Clement is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Rosemary Clement; sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Linda Clement, of Mont Belvieu, Bobby and Pat Clement, of Baytown, John and Sue Clement, of Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Dave Alimena, of Beach City, Terri and Ronny Smith, Candy and Ronnie Kovalcik, Sandy and Ricky Martin, Denice and Timmy Massengale, all of Baytown, Jana and Johnny Sanders, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and Amy Jo and Tim Warfel, of Spring; twenty-six grandchildren, Melissa Gill, Kera Jennings, Keli LaGrone, Tina Tilton, Jennifer Nerf, Laura Callaway, Kimberly Hanle, Amanda and Kristin Alimena, Christopher and Christy Clement, Stacey Stork, Mindy Vyoral, Ronda Smith, Angie Lawrence, Steven Kovalcik, Crystal Goetz, Brooke Martin, Andrew Van Hise, Joshua, Colby, and Priscilla Massengale, Amber Cannon, Marle' Thompson and Emily and Joseph Clement.

    He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, Amber and Tiffany Gill, Kade, Kyle and Kenli LaGrone, Nichole, Chance and Peyton Nerf, Kadence Alexander, Troy Tomlinson, Kaitlyn and Bryce Stork, Dylan and Devyn Vyoral, and Austin Goetz; brothers; Watts Clement, of Santa Fe, Texas, Alford Clement and wife, Toni, of New Mexico, Frank Clement and wife, Gayle, of Huffman; sister-in-law, Lucille Clement, of Houston; longtime friend, Glenn Muldrow, of Highlands, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

    Rosemary Clement (Maw Maw), 87, of Baytown, passed away on March 21, 2019. Born on December 17, 1931 in Crosby, Texas to Ike and Antonia Michalsky, she grew up with seven siblings whom she loved dearly. She attended Crosby High School, where she was a cheerleader, basketball, and tennis player. After graduation she married the love of her life, Raymond Clement, on April 19, 1952. Together in Highlands, Texas, they raised ten children who were taught the importance of family being together and supporting one another. The legacy continues with 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Rosemary was happiest when everyone was together. Her love of sports continued throughout her life. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play various sports, college sports, and loved the Houston Astros. She worked in the banking business and as Gentry Jr. School's secretary until she retired at the age of 71.

    Rosemary was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters. Her Catholic faith was strong. She believed in prayer and had faith that God would take care of us. He answered her last prayer on Earth and is forever in his loving care with no worries.

    She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
