    Carl Parrish, Panhandle, Dies

    PANHANDLE (Special) - Carl R. Parrish, 46, of Panhandle died in the Veterans' Hospital in Amarillo at 1 p.m. Wednesday, following a long illness.

    Services have been set for 10 a.m. Saturday in Panhandle with burial in the Panhandle Cemetery.

    Parrish lived in Floydada about 16 years, and had been a resident of Panhandle for the past 10. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

    Survivors include his widow, Delores; two sons Rusty of Glendale, Ariz., and Randy of Panhandle; two daughters, Carlett and Deborah both of Panhandle; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Omer Parrish of Floydada; two brothers, Raymond of 4415 47th St. in Lubbock and Richard of Fritch, Tex.; and three sisters, Mrs. George Lampe of 3322 Baylor Ave. in Lubbock and Mrs. James Bunch of Panhandle, and Mrs. Pete Watson of Idabel, Okla.

    Panhandle - Funeral services for Carl R Parrish, 47 of Panhandle, will be at 10 am Saturday in the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery. Mr Parrish died Wednesday afternoon in the Veterans Administration Hospital at Amarillo following a long illness.

    He was born at Floydada and came to Panhandle in 1960 from Glendale, Arizona. He was an inspector for the Mason and Hanger-Silas Mason Co at Pantex and a member of the First Baptist Church.

    Survivors include his wife, Doris, two daughters, Charlette and Debra, both of the family home; two sons, Mark of Phoenex and Randy of the family home, his parents Mr & Mrs Omer Parish of Floydada, three sisters, Mrs. Goerge Lampe of Lubbock, Mrs. James bunch of Pnahandle and Mrs. Pete Watson of Idabel,OK and two brothers, Raynond of Lubbock and Richard of Fritch.

    Lorene Crow, 87, of Borger, died Monday in the Borger Nursing Center.

    Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa with Mr. Dean Whaley, minister of the Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ, officiating.

    Burial will be under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.

    A retired nurses aid at Highland General Hospital in Pampa, Mrs. Crow was a native of Whitney, and a longtime Borger and Pampa resident.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, J.F. Crow, three sons, J.F., Jr., Curtis and Don Crow, and a daughter, Elnora Davenport.

    Survivors include two sons, Harold Crow, of Spring Creek, and Jerry Crow, of Garland; two daughters, Mary Bryant, of Borger, and Doris Walton, of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Glen Heath of Wilcox, Ariz., and Odell Heath, of Bakersfield, Calif.; four sisters, Dorothy Simmons, of Portland, Ore., Dolly Scott, of Puyallup, Wash., Mrs. Enoch Weed, of Prescott, Ariz., and Mary Neugent, of Fort Worth; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
