    Mitch R. Tanner of Metairie on Wednesday, September 27, 1995 at 9:30 pm. Age 41 years. A resident of Metairie and a native of New Orleans. Father of John W. Tanner of Honolulu, HI and William and Rachael Tanner of Terrytown, LA. Brother of Barry Tanner, Sr. of Baton Rouge, LA, Gail Tanner of Chalmette, LA and Michael Tanner of Las Vegas, NV. Son of the late Robert L. Tanner and Elsie Tanner of Chalmette. Mr. Tanner served in the United States Army and Army Reserves from March 1971 to August 1987. He was a graduate of Chalmette High School and worked toward his undergraduate degree at UNO and Holy Cross College. Mr. Tanner served in varied federal and state Civil Service positions for many years. Mr. Tanner served as the Human Resource/Loss Prevention Director at New Orleans City Park prior to his passing. He has been many years in public and Christian service and shall be sadly missed by those he cared for.

    Services were held on Sunday, October 1, 1995.

    Robert Lee (Bob) Tanner, on Tuesday, September 29, 1981 at 5:45 a.m. Beloved husband of Elsie Gaudet, son of the late Lillian LeBlanc and James R. Tanner, father of Barry Sr., Gail Louise, Mitchell and Michael Tanner, brother of James R. Tanner, and Mrs. Effie Logan. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Age 53 years. A native of Tennessee and a resident of St. Bernard Parish for the past 26 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the U.S. Steel Workers Local No. 13000, United Way, Employees of Kaiser Aluminum and Congregation of First Baptist Church of Chalmette are invited to attend the funeral. Services from the St. Bernard funeral home of Lamana Panno Fallo Inc., 7701 St. Bernard Hwy., Arabi on Friday, October 2, 1981 at 9:00 a.m. Religious services in the parlor.     NEW ORLEANS - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in La Mana Pano Folio Funeral Home in New Orleans for Robert Lee Tanner, 54. He died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in New Orleans.

    Mr. Tanner was a native of Lafayette, the son of the late Mrs. Lillian Tanner. He attended Lafayette High School before serving the U.S. Army in World War II and the Korean Conflict and was employed by Kaiser Aluminum Company of Chalmette for 29 years.

    Survivors include his wife, Elsie Gaudet Tanner of New Orleans; three sons, Barry Lee Tanner of Baton Rouge, Michael Tanner of Houston, Texas, and Mitchell Tanner of Germany; one daughter, Gail Louise Tanner of New Orleans; one sister, Mrs. Effie Logan of Lafayette; one brother, James Russell Tanner of Lawton, Okla., and five grandchildren.

    La Mana Pano Folio Funeral Home on St. Bernard Highway in New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.

    Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow in the Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. J.W. Tanner, 71, who died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital after a brief illness. The Rev. Wallace Palmer, pastor of the Northside Baptist Church, will conduct the services.

    Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Broussard.

    Mrs. Tanner, the former Lillian LeBlanc, was the daughter of the late Clet LeBlanc and Azina Vincent. She was a native of Broussard, but had lived in Lafayette for the past 30 years, residing at 514 Evangeline Drive at the time of her death.

    She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph P. Logan of Lafayette; two sons, James R. Tanner of San Antonio, Tex., and Robert Lee Tanner of New Orleans; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

    The family requests that visiting hours be observed until 11 p.m. tonight and from 7 a.m. to service time Thursday.

    Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
