    Steven Tyler Redmon, 21, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013, at the Shepherd's Center of Atlanta, Georgia.

    He was born on May 28, 1992 in Kennett, Missouri, and was the son of Pam Moore and Kirk Redmon.

    He was a Combat Engineer of the 1039th Engineer Company of the Arkansas National Guard.

    He is survived by his mother: Pam Moore and husband Darrin of Pollard, Arkansas; two sisters: Haley Godi, and husband John of Licking, Missouri, and Whitney Latimer, and husband Russ of Piggott, Arkansas; two nephews: Benjamin, and Jett; two nieces: Lillian, and AnnaBel; grandparents: Bill and Nova Moody, and Gary and Peggy Redmon and Brenda Rogers; and a host of other relatives, and friends.

    Funeral services will be held Friday, December 27, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel, with Trent Grimes officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home.

    Polly E. Barks, 83, of Piggott, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, in the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.

    She was born Jan. 25, 1924, in Nimmons, and was the daughter of the late Elaine and Evalena Crow Gattis.

    She was united in marriage to Norman Owen on June 13, 1939, and to this union two children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman in 1993.

    She was united in marriage to John Barks on April 2, 1996.

    She is survived by her husband John Barks of Piggott; daughter, Peggy Redmon of Nimmons; son, Leroy Owen of Nimmons; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Frankie Gattis of Dallas, Tex.; three sisters, Joe Ann Parris of Kennett, Brenda Burress of White Oak, Mo., and Fanny Gattis of Kennett; and many other relatives and friends.

    Visitation and funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 27, in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Bobby Carter officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway. Pallbearers were Waylon Dunn, Terry Palmer, Brett Palmer, Tommy Redmon, Scott Redmon, and Brian Settlemoir. Honorary pallbearer was Harold Burdin. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of the arrangements.
