    GLENDALE - Morris Benjamin Spain, 43, a worker for Paraflex Machine & Tool, died May 28, 1985, at Maryvale Samaritan Hospital.

    Mr. Spain, of Glendale, was born in Phoenix. He was a member of the Arizona National Guard for 22 years.

    Survivors include his daughters, Ronda, Kathleen and Rebecca; four sisters and four brothers.

    Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Glendale Memorial Park, 7844 N. 61st Ave.

    Earl Geisler's Services Pending

    Funeral services are pending for Earl J. Geisler, who was found dead at his apartment at 5701 Fourth NW, yesterday. He was 55.

    An autopsy was ordered to determine cause of death, police said.

    Mr. Geisler was a salesman for National Press, Inc., North Chicago, Ill., police said.

    Funeral arrangements await the arrival of relatives, officers said.

    Kathleen Stumph was born January 27, 1915 in Colorado City, TX and moved to Rodeo, NM when she was three months old. She graduated from Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy (high school) in Knoxville, TN in 1933. She graduated from University of New Mexico in 1939. She married Earl J. Geisler in 1941 in Albuquerque, NM. He passed away in 1964. She married Roy C. Stumph in 1966. He preceded her in death on October 19, 1997. They retired in 1973 and lived in Albuquerque five years. They moved to Mesa, AZ in 1978 where she resided until moving to Dallas, TX in 1999 and lived with her daughter, Ruth. She taught first grade in the Albuquerque Public Schools for 22 years and on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Western New Mexico for 10 years. She was church organist for the Crestview Baptist Church in Albuquerque for fifteen years and for Brown Road Baptist Church in Mesa for sixteen years. Kathleen and Roy Stumph were very active in the The Gideons International, Mission Service Corp with the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board, and the Brown Road Baptist Church in Mesa. After Kathleen moved to Dallas, she was very active in Brookhaven Church, taught English in the Kurdish Ministry, and taught English as a Second Language at the Marcus Recreation Center. Survivors include daughters, Ruth Geisler of Dallas, TX and Mildred Tester of Sun City, AZ; one brother, Elmer Claude Snyder of Paris, AR; one niece, Ida Mae Gendreau; two nephews, James Snyder and Robert Snyder of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Ronda Goodin, Kathleen Skelly, and Becky Spain of Arizona; five great-grandchildren, Kyle, Stephanie, and Alexis Goodin, and Madison and Daniel Skelly; one great-nephew, Mike Gendreau; and two great-nieces, Marie Gendreau and Jeanne Padilla; and many other precious family and friends who love her and will miss her deeply. She died peacefully in Dallas, TX on February 7, 2006 at the age of 91 years. She will be interred at Mountain View Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mesa, AZ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Brookhaven Church. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only for me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8 (NIV)

    SNYDER - Ida Campbell Snyder, 93, a resident of Paris, Ark., and a former resident of Albuquerque from 1951-1966, died in Paris, Ark. on Sunday. She is survived by a son, Claude Snyder of Paris, Ark.; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Stumph, Albuquerque; a sister, Mrs. B.C. Phoenix of Henderson, Texas.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Crestview Baptist Church. Graveside services and interment will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with the Rev. J.C. Tankersley officiating. French Mortuary, 1111 University NE, in charge of arrangements.
