Steve Eugene Gantt, 82 of Marietta died Wednesday April 9, 2008. Graveside Services will be 2 PM Thursday April 10, 2008 at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery, Marietta with Dr. Charles Williams and Rev. Bryan Pillsbury officiating. Mr. Gantt was a lifelong resident of Cobb County. He retired in 1989 after 39 years service from Lockheed. He was also Vice-President of the former Hay-Gantt Funeral Home, Marietta. He was a WWll Navy Veteran and was a member of the Marietta Golden K Kiwanis Club. He was a member of the Osborne High School Alumni Association. Survivors are his wife Mary Ann Gantt, Marietta; Sons Stephen Gantt, Kennesaw; Hank Gantt, Waleska; Daughter Julie Lester, Marietta; Brother Howard Gantt, Kennesaw; Sister Georgia Lou Williams, Jacksonville, FL. The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 PM at Carmichael Funeral Home, Marietta. Collins Funeral Home Acworth in charge of arrangements. Mary Ann Gantt, 82, of Marietta died Sunday February 20, 2011. Funeral Services will be Wednesday February 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home 915 Piedmont Road Marietta, GA 30066. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park. Mrs. Gantt lived most of her life in Cobb County. She was a Christian, Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. After her children were born, she dedicated herself to her family while volunteering in the community and at her children's schools. Mary Ann's grandchildren brought her great joy as well. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve E. Gantt. Survivors include sons Stephen (Suzanne) Gantt of Kennesaw and Hank (Katrina) Gantt of Waleska. Daughter, Julie (David) Lester of Marietta. Grandchildren, Craig Gantt, Kevin Gantt, Kristy Gantt Moratin , Chris Gantt, Andy Lester, Joe Lester, Alexx Westbrook, Zach Lester, and Joey Mangum. Great Grandchildren, Kaylee Gantt and Lacy Gantt. Services for Julian H. Huddleston, 75, of 2256 Bolton Drive NW will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hay-Gantt's chapel, burial in Crest Lawn Memorial Park. Mr. Huddleston, a retired maintenance maintenance truck driver with the Southern Railway System, died Wednesday, apparently from a heart attack. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Martha Lee Swain Huddleston, and daughter, Mrs. Steve E. Gantt of Marietta.

Mrs. Martha Lee Huddleston, 87 of Marietta, died Friday. Funeral 2:30 Sunday, Hay-Gantt Funeral Home, Marietta. Rev. Claude E. Smithmier, Rev. Jay Vinyard officiating, interment, Crest Lawn Memorial Park, Atlanta. Mrs. Huddleston was born in Atlanta and lived most of her life in Inman Yard and Bolton Communities before moving to Marietta in 1973. She was Past Worthy Matron of Inman Chapter O.E.S. and member of Cumberland United Methodist Church. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Gantt, Marietta; one sister, Mrs. Marianne Dennis, Auburn, Ala.; one brother, Wayne F. Swain, Sr., Atlanta; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
