    DEATH OF AN INFANT.

    Rosa Lee, age 15 months, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Goldsmith, of Fort Pierce, died suddenly, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Walker, in North Titusville, Wednesday night at 8 o'clock, after a short illness.

    The little one had been quite ill with fever and eczema, but was thought to be improving; in fact she was so much better that Mr. Goldsmith left, Tuesday afternoon, for Fort Pierce, to attend to his business. He was telegraphed for and arrived Thursday morning at 3 o'clock, accompanied by his brother, Mr. Maurice Goldsmith, wife and baby.

    The funeral was held from the Walker residence at 2 p.m. Thursday. The interment was in LaGrange cemetery.

    Mr. and Mrs. Goldsmith have the sympathy of all in their affliction.

    Death Notice:

    Mr. W. E. Goldsmith, who has been in the grocery business in Titusville for several years, died at his home in Bay View, from tuberculosis, on Wednesday afternoon, much to the regret of his numerous friends. He was born in Columbia, S.C. 43 years ago, but has resided in Titusville and Bay View about 25 years. He leaves a wife, son, daughter and other relatives to mourn his loss. His remains will be interred in the LaGrange Cemetery at 1:00 on Sunday afternoon.

    Obituary:

    The funeral service of the late Mr. William Edward Goldsmith took place at one o'clock on Sunday afternoon, at the house, with the Knights of Pythias funeral service, and afterwards at the Methodist church, Titusville, the Rev. A. D. Bourn reading the very impressive burial service.

    The church was packed to the doors with relatives and friends of the deceased.

    After the service the cortege wended its way to the LaGrange Cemetery, followed by a large concourse of people, and the remains were interred with the K. P. burial service, amidst the grief of his relatives and friends. Large and beautiful wreaths of flowers were placed on his coffin by many friends. His body rests where his parents, grandparents and two brothers were buried some years ago.

    Mr. Goldsmith had been in the grocery business in Titusville for a number of years, and some years ago he was one of Titusville's alderman, up to the time when he moved to Bay View. He was born in Columbia, S.C., on October 23, 1873, but left there for Florida about 25 years ago. He was married on March 23, 1898, to Miss Theodosia Swain, sister of Mrs. John R. Walker, of Titusville, and leaves a wife, son and daughter to mourn the loss of a good, faithful father. Also a niece and two nephews, as well as other relatives.

    Mr. Goldsmith was a member of the Knights of Pythias, Odd Fellows, Pythian Sisters and Rebekah lodges, who attended the funeral in a body.

    The following out of the city relatives and friends atended the funeral Sunday after-noon of our late friend and citizen William Edward Goldsmith.

    Mrs. Mary T. Wright, 88, 5206 Seminole Ave., died yesterday. A native of Dyersburg, Tenn., she lived in Tampa 34 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include: a son, E. Gordon Goldsmith, Tampa; a daughter, Elizabeth Goldsmith, Tampa; and a brother, Willis Swain, Atlanta.

    WRIGHT, Mrs. Mary T. - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary T. Wright, 89, of 5206 Seminole Avenue, Tampa, will be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Garden Chapel. Duval Funeral Home, 3800 Nebraska Avenue, with Dr. J. W. Blake, minister of visitation, of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.

    Funeral for Mrs. C. J. Swain Held Here On Sunday

    Burial Services for Aged Citizen Held At Memorial Park Cemetery

    Funeral services for Mrs. C. J. Swain of this city were held from the Baptist Church last Sunday afternoon at four o'clock. Rev. Robert Holmes, pastor of the church, had charge of the services with Rev. T. A. Conway assisting.

    A quartette consisting of Mrs. M. B. Smith, Miss Mattie Griffis, R. Nelson and Chas. Holcomb sang during the services, and the local temple of Pythian Sisters had charge of the services at the grave.

    Mrs. Swain passed away last Thursday night at Tallahassee where she had been visiting at the home of her son, J. W. Swain for some time. She passed here ninetieth year on the 25th of last January, having been born in 1843 in Tipton county, Tenn.

    The deceased came to Florida in 1885 and first settled at Lakeland. Later the family moved to Titusville, where Mr. Swain died in 1916.

    Six children survive the departed mother. They were Mrs. Hester Walker of Miami, Mrs. A. M. Wright of Tallahassee, J. W. Swain of Tallahassee, C. H. Swain of Lakeland, L. O. Swain of Atlanta, W. H. Swain of Jacksonville. One brother E. H. Crowe is living at Holcomb, Mo.

    Mrs. Swain was an active member of several organizations during her lifetime, among them being the Eastern Star, Pythian Sisters and Baptist Church.

    Pallbearers at the Funeral Sunday were E. B. Wager, D. B. Pritchard, R. L. Baldwein, T. A. Conway, Wade Manous of Atlanta and Dr. J. C. Spell.

    MRS. M. J. Swain, 91, DIES AT SON'S HOME

    Mrs. M. J. Swain, 91, died at the home of her son, at 450 St. Francis street at 11:40 last night after an illness of two weeks.

    The body will be sent to Titusville, Florida, where the funeral will be held Sunday afternoon. She will be buried by the side of her husband, C. J. Swain.

    She is survived by four sons: L. O. Swain, of Atlanta; W. H. Swain of Jacksonville; C. H. Swain, of Orlando; and J. W. Swain of Tallahassee.

    She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Al Wright of Tallahassee and Mrs. John R. Walker, of Miami.
