    May 18, 1935 - Sept 23, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Erma Priest; her son, David L. Hogue; and daughter, Ellen L. Hogue. She is survived by sister, Joyce Roberts, and her family; and her children, Donald L. Hogue, Cynthia L. Hogue, and Melani L. Hogue Edwards. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mama is at peace in her heavenly home. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel.

    Services for Owen E. Hogue, 75, who died April 8th in Memphis, Tenn., were held April 10th at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Hayti with the Rev. Jerry Hargraves officiating. Masonic services were held April 16th in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.

    He was born Jan. 21st, 1904 in Bernie, the son of the late Robley Howell and Cory Mary Hogue Sr.

    He was a retired merchant, veteran of the First Baptist Church, Four Mile Masonic Lodge in Campbell, A and A Scottish Rites of Freemasonary Valley of St. Louis Orient of Missouri and The Malah Temple Shrine of St. Louis.

    Survivors include his wife, Mary A. Hogue of Hayti, one son, Don Hogue of Campbell, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Peggy Turnage of Hayti and Mrs. Wanda Maloney of Mabin, Miss.; one brother, Ted A. Hogue of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Norma Puckett of Anderson, Ind.; and 2 grandchildren.
