Donald "Corkey" Luther, son of the late George Luther and Fredia (Crowe) Luther, was born February 22, 1934 in Holcomb, MO. and departed this life on August 7, 2015 at the age of 81 years. Corkey married Ammie Lou Stewart on May 17, 1952 in Piggott, Arkansas.

His wife: Ammie Lou Luther of White Oak, MO

One son: Donald Gene Luther and Cheryl of Jonesboro, AR.

One daughter: Teresa Jean DePew and Coy of Kennett, MO

Five grandchidren: Erica Weadon and Joe of Poplar Bluff, MO

Jeremy Luther of Jacksonville, Fl.

Justin DePew and Stacia of Jonesboro, AR

Stuart Luther of Phoenix, AZ.

Jonathan Carnell of Abbeville, MS.

Two great grandchildren: Bristol Weadon and Brynnlea Weadon

One brother: Quinton Luther and Pat of Holcomb, MO.

Ammie Lou Luther, daughter of the late Auddie Stewart and Winnie (Miles) Stewart was born July 15, 1933 in Monette, Arkansas and departed this life on June 3, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Ammie married Donald (Corkey) Luther on May 17, 1952 in Piggott, Arkansas. Donald preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

One son: Donald (Cheryl) Luther of Jonesboro, Arkansas

One daughter; Teresa Jean (Coy) Depew of Kennett, Missouri

Five grandchildren: Erica Weadon, Jeremy Luther, Justin Depew, Stuart Luther and Jonathan Carnell.

Two great grandchildren: Bristol and Brynnlea

Two Sisters: Billie Woodard of Kennett, Missouri

Linda Scarbough of Huntsville, Alabama

Ammie was of Kennett, Missouri and passed away June 3, 2018.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Harold Dunbar officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Jeremy Luther, Stuart Luther, Justin Depew, Jonathan Carnell, Joe Weadon and Randy Woodard.

George Luther, 90, of Kennett, Missouri, formerly of Holcomb, Mo., died Sunday, January 5, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born December 29, 1912, in White Oak, Missouri, a son of the late Augustus Logan and Mary Caroline Robertson Luther, he was a member of Varner River Baptist Church.

He married Fredia Crowe who preceded him in death June 6, 1986. He later married Geneva Huffstutler Lemonds, who survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Donald Luther and his wife, Ammie, of White Oak, Missouri, and Quinton Luther and his wife, Pat, of Holcomb, Missouri; four sisters, Mabel Bush of Springfield, Missouri, Mary Connerman of Columbia, Missouri, Nellie O'Toole of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. and Phyllis King of North Platte, Neb.; five grandchildren, Teresa Depew and her husband, Coy, of Kennett, Missouri., Linda Rickman and her husband, Richard, of Holcomb, Missouri, Carrie Woolverton and her husband, Hugh, of Holcomb, Missouri and Danny Luther and his wife, Debbie, of Corpus Christi, Texas; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2003, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett, Missouri.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri, with the Revs. Dale Rickman and Lonnie Mittag officiating.

Burial was in Memorial Gardens cemetery, Kennett, Missouri.
