Obituary:

Nelle M. Hunter, 84, of Wichita Falls, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Nelle was born on November 18, 1927 in Winfield, Texas to the late C.R. and Winnie (Williams) Maxwell. She was a member of Scotland United Methodist Church, and a member of the DAR and Colonial Dames. Nelle enjoyed fishing, and doing Genealogy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, A.T. Hunter; one brother, and one sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean Powell and husband Doug of Wichita Falls; a brother, Bill Maxwell of Lillian; three grandchildren, Sheri Lozipone, Dee Jay Conley, and Dallas Powell; two great-grandchildren, A.J. Powell, and Heather Powell; and two great-great grandchildren, Gloria Rose, and Sophia Alcorta.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd., Wichita Falls, TX 76310.

Andrew (son of George Allen Hunter and Lula Minnie Harrison) was born 29 Aug 1920, Clairemont, Kent County, Texas, USA; died 21 Feb 2007, Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, USA; was buried , Riverside Cemetery - Wichita Falls, Texas, USA.
