FRED SLATER
Gilmer, Texas, Nov. 6 (Special) - Fred Slater, 27 years old, world war veteran, died at a government hospital at Hot Springs, Ark., and the body was brought here and buried at the Kelsey cemetery, near his home. Mr. Slater was wounded during services overseas and was never cured, but was at times apparently well. Rev. J. O. Lindsey conducted the funeral services. Mr. Slater is survived by his wife and two small children.
