Notes - Obituary:
Funeral services will at 2 p.m. Friday in Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel for Raymond McCuistion, 84, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004 in a local hospital.
L. G. Wilden will officiate. Interment will be in Eastview Cemetery.
McCuistion was born Feb. 16, 1920 in Olney, a son of the late Ray and Nora Sutherlen McCuistion. He married Marion Elnora Slater Jan 13, 1940 in Breckenridge.
A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, when he served as a medical - surgical tech on a hospital ship, he had been a resident of Vernon since 1946. He worked for Verntex Creamery and Dr. Pepper Bottling CO. and later owned and operated a service station. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Karon Anderson of Vernon; two sons, Fred McCuistion and Richard McCuistion, both of San Angelo; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
